The WFDSA has released the results of the global direct sales industry statistics covering the calendar year 2010. The highlights:
- The average revenue per distributor is $1,508 per year.
- There are worldwide 87,6 million distributors.
- Combined worldwide revenue is $132 billion.
- USA is the largest market both in revenue $28 billion, as in numbers of distributors 15.8 million
- The average Japanese distributor sells 4 times more then an USA distributor.
- Indonesia has 6.2 million distributors however the lowest revenue per distributor, $118 per year.
- Asia/Pacific is the largest region, $55 billion revenue and 47 million distributors.
- Switzerland has the highest revenue per distributor $39,996 per year.
- Luxembourg is the smallest market $13 million revenue
