ViSalus Compensation Plan Review – A Fit For Many

ViSalus' Body by Vi Challenge is the weight-loss and fitness Challenge platform in North America and the UK, rewarding those with the best 90-day transformations with over $47 Million each year* in earned free products, prizes and vacations. (*Based on actual 2012 awards).

ViSalus is the originators of the 3 for free program that allows customers and promoters to qualify to earn income without having to come out of pocket every month for their auto ship. Leaders in the industry call it disappearing auto ship. Currently 1 out of 4 active promoters gets their product for free every month.  Last year ViSalus gave away over 400,000 Challenge Kits for free.

Those who hit director in their first 30 days earn from company wide revenue weekly in the Rising Star Pool.  This is the fast path for a new promoter getting a return on their start up cost and becoming profitable.  ViSalus had nearly 35,000 promoters accomplish this in 2012.

ViSalus was the first to launch an inverted car program, offering the BMW bonus at the second earned position in the composition plan, as opposed to the top has it had traditionally been done.  ViSalus had over 15,000 promoters qualify for the BMW bonus.  About 60% choose to get the car, the remainder takes the $300 per month cash bonus.

There are about 61,000 active promoters according to the Q2 results, and in the Business For Home rankings about 434 ViSalus Top Earners are listed. As we might miss the lower ranked Top Earners we estimated around 1 – 2% of the active promoters are making $5,000 per month or more, the professionals.

Top Earners and superstars as Nick and Ashley Sarnicola, Kyle Pacetti, Jason O'Toole,  Rachel Jackson, Tara Wilson, Dale Peake, Jennifer Lynn and many others are doing great.

We have analyzed on request the compensation plan answering the question: How easy or difficult is it to become a top earner?. What are the requirements to be and stay an Ambassador?. The average earnings for an Ambassador are around $10,000 per month according to several well informed sources. Ambassador is the starting point for 6 figures and above earners.

Last year ViSalus had 404 promoters reach Ambassador rank. 30 promoters have legitimately earned over $1 million in income with the compensation plan.

From the ViSalus Compensation planThe residual component:

The Team Commissions section of the ViSalus Compensation Plan is called a Unilevel with Compression. That means you will earn a percentage through a certain number of levels of referral within your organization. The higher the rank you achieve, the more levels from which you can earn commissions.

The ViSalus compensation plan uses “compression” to allow you to earn on sales originating down deeper within your referral line. A level is determined by an Active Associate. Any Customer or Distributor volume that is not generated from an Active Associate will “compress” and be counted in the volume of the Level immediately above.

From the ViSalus Career Path & Rank Qualifications:

Associate – $125 in Personal Volume a month via auto ship or $200 in Personal Volume through retail sales (this is what is required for a ViSalus distributor to be “active”)

Ambassador (AMB): Remain Active, have 3 Legs of $125, and a total of $150,000 Group Qualification Volume per month with 60% Rank Criteria.  No more than 60% of the total required Rank Qualification Volume (QV) can come out of any single leg.

Conclusion: A compensation plan with down to earth requirements, a fit for many. You need as a minimum to maintain 3 groups of active distributors as Ambassador and the required volume. If you choose to go for ViSalus and you focus, you have a fair chance to build up long term residual income.
