How do you build a multimillion dollar business from giving? mynt Purple Diamond Rob Sperry has found the way.

Giving back has become a healthy addiction for new mynt Purple Diamond Rob Sperry. Sperry, who became mynt’s first Blue Diamond just last month, explains, “The value of being a giver rather than a taker in life has transformed our business from a standard network marketing company to a culture of young enthusiastic markets who are making a difference in the industry.

“Instead of having our new distributors promote products, they participate in a mynt moment. A mynt moment is giving back any way that we can. It can be anything from a simple random act of kindness to something bigger.

“The movemynt really is about people getting together all over the country with an excuse to have some fun and make a difference. The biggest lesson I have learned so far was from a recent mynt event we had with team members from all over North America. At the event, everyone who had organized a humanitarian event, or mynt moment, was invited to the front of the room to be recognized. 

Toward the end of recognizing these 16 individuals, I realized that each one of the individuals who had put on their own mynt moment event had also qualified for our car program. We are always taught that the more we give, the more we receive. It was a profound learning experience to see that philosophy put into action. Our business is thriving because people are taking care of others first, which is having a direct correlation to the bottom line.

“One of the things I am most proud of in mynt is the people that have been attracted to the vision. Having built organizations in the past, I knew that the leadership we wanted for mynt was not those that I had worked with in the past. I am proud to say that I have been able to rebuild a large organization without going after my previous MLM contacts, but by looking for people with the right hearts that would fit our giving culture. 

mynt has been so powerful in its pull marketing that my entire group isn’t from any of my previous network marketing affiliation. We have attracted many successful and talented individuals who have never been associated with network marketing. Now that we’ve gained traction, it’s fun to see the caliber of professional network marketers attracted to our company.  

“The mynt culture is not just giving back, but also laughing and having fun. I love our parody videos. In a world where the information age has made products so competitive and similar to each other, humor has become a big part of our society, acting as a differentiator. Companies like Old Spice, Dollar Shave Club, and, recently, Dodge Ram have had success with adding humor. 

We have followed suit and decided to have a little fun by being the first network marketing company to my knowledge that consistently uses humor with parody video. Here is one of the parody videos by mynt: “Network Marketing 3 ft. Rule

“Finally, it’s nice to get credit and be recognized individually for achieving Purple Diamond, but, as all leaders know, you are only as good as those leaders in your organization. I have been fortunate to have some of the highest quality people and leaders inside my organization. I learn from them daily.

“The future of mynt is bright. Yes, mynt has done 3 million dollars in product sales, and we just started shipping products April 19. But as our CEO Mauricio Bellora says: Focus on intangibles and the results will come. 

“We will continue to build around our four areas of focus which are:

  • mynt moments: making a difference any way we can, whenever we can
  • mynt mind: continually progressing as individuals and leaders
  • mynt approved: providing products to meet the needs of the communities that we serve
  • mynt mania: building a lucrative residual business in a fun and unique way

“We aren’t interested in a quick fix hype company. We are interested in building a long lasting company that individuals want to stay with.”
