Javita Launches New Initiative

 

Javita is proud to announce the formal launch of JavitaCares, the company's initiative for charitable giving.

Javita's founder, Stan Cherelstein, has a passion for helping others. The underlying mission of Javita is to provide the average person the opportunity to change lives. This mission for changing lives extends beyond Javita's Members, customers and employees, Cherelstein said. We want Javita to be a vehicle which enables others to give back to those in need.

Since Javita's founding in 2011, contributions have been made directly to individuals and various charities. Now, the company has formalized its charitable initiative in what it calls — JavitaCares.

JavitaCares mission is to bring about awareness and resources to help enhance the lives of those in need. Donating money and time to charity is one of the most selfless acts an individual can do. Javita has already raised thousands of dollars that will be used to help those in need and this couldn't have been accomplished without our caring Javita Members.

JavitaCares is comprised of three programs, each of which is a vehicle for making positive changes in people's lives. The three programs are: Change For Change, Non-Profit Fundraising, and Corporate Donations.

Change For Change Program: All Javita Members are automatically enrolled in the Change for Change Program. This program allows Members to donate a portion of their earnings, which are then matched, 100% by Javita. The funds are then dispersed to local charities.

Non-Profit Fundraising Program: Javita Members have the opportunity to team up with their local not-for-profit and charitable organizations to raise money to support their mission. They raise funds by selling Javita products, which benefits not only the non-profit organization, but also the Javita Members.

Some of the charities and not-for-profit organizations that have teamed up with JavitaCares for fundraising include: Relay For Life of West Palm Beach, Transition Youth Projects Inc. of Hawaii, National Parkinson's South Florida, Anxiety and Depression Association of America and Stand Among Friends.

Corporate Donations Program: Through JavitaCares, the company donates to various local and national charities. Some of the charities Javita have donated to include the American Leukemia Society, American Cancer Society and the Boca Food Bank.

JavitaCares also coordinates with its Members to assist their local charities. During the past holiday season, each Javita Diamond Member was provided with funds from JavitaCares to donate to their own local cause. Many of the Diamonds felt it in their hearts to match the amount they were given, which greatly benefited those in need.

During every holiday season, Javita employees donate Thanksgiving dinners to local charities to help provide food for those in need. This past year the employees helped 1,000 families enjoy Thanksgiving.

Additionally, over the past three years, Javita's employees have joined the fight against breast cancer and have teamed up with the Every Boob Counts Foundation for the 'Every Boob Counts 5k,' which is held annually in Lake Worth, Florida.

No good deed is too small, and Javita's Members and employees can all be a part of JavitaCares helping make a difference in people's lives.

JavitaCares is proud to support not-for-profit and charitable organizations that help those in need, and is dedicated to working with faith-based organizations, school athletic and academic groups, special needs organizations and others, whose mission is to provide care, service or awareness to their cause.
