Business For Home org web site (BFH) hit by professional DDoS attacks after reporting the TVI Express Scam.
Heemstede, the Netherlands, 31 may 2010
BFH was informed by his USA hosting service provider Inmotion Hosting on 31 May that its website had been the target of a professional DDoS attack and the attacker had managed to blockthe site from the Internet for 24 hours. The website is up again but expect further attacks.
A DDoS attack is a malicious attempt to disable a website, by overwhelming the site with information requests so that it cannot respond to regular traffic.
"The attacker is obviously trying to shut down the BFH website from the internet as the attack has been getting more severe and persistent over the hours. And we are still under attack," said Ted Nuyten, Chairman Business For Home Foundation.
BFH has been a major reporter on the TVI Express scam which is hitting Asia and the USA. TVI express has a scam revenue of an estimated $100 million. BFH has reported that Tarun Trikha, one of the top leaders is the mastermind behind the scam and published a list on the website for the major leaders in this Ponzi scheme. The website is accessed by at least 35,000 visitors per month.
"Technically, it is of course difficult to say who is behind the attack. But we can easily say that we did not make friends with our TVI Express reporting. We will not stop reporting and revealing this scam. Apart from them, who else would like to see
our Internet site shut down and who else would want to spend a lot of money initiating this kind of attack? This attack is not only an attack on the website but an attack on the freedom of speech and the Direct Selling industry in specific" said Ted Nuyten.

Since couple of months, TVI express is taking Spore, Malaysia, Indonesia and now Philippines. There is so many report about the scam, but the business is well supported in this region. The top leader, Norashid from Brunei are very aggressive leader. I wanted to know, how true is TVI Express, is it a REAL SCAM and how long you think the business could last. Now, the travelling package offered to members in Asia get well response. Your confidential reply is required. I am not TVI member.
