Ted, no list of Network Marketing iconic reads would be complete without including something from my good friend Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter. Tom’s ‘Big Al’ series is massively educational in building an MLM business, packed with golden nuggets and all held together with a healthy dose of humour – crackin’ stuff for any new or old networker alike. Drop at least one in from Tom’s epic series, like ‘Big Al Tells All’, and that would get my vote!
You’re missing Don Faila’s book (basics), Tom Schreiters books and the books of Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad, Business of the 21st century and Business School)
Great idea yet weird list of non-entity books…??!! I’ve been in industry for ages and never heard of half these books!
Look on knowledge is king.co.uk or amazon.com
Most haven’t been translated!!!
The best selling Network Marketing books are… [so i was told]
Don Failla’s 45sec [used to be called The Basics] – 5million+, 25+ languages
the million sellers….
Be the best – Kalench – many languages
Ed Ludbrook’s 100% Confidence [used to be called The Big Picture] , 20+ languages
Tom Schrieter’s Big Al Tells All, 20+ languages
Your first Year – Yarnells [best seller on Amazon for years]
Greatest Networker – Fogg – a few languages
Business of 21st century – Kijosaki – prob a million in last year!
Wave 3/4 series – huge sellers in end of 90s
I have attended scores of incredible live seminars with fabulous leaders and the absolute “Top of the Heap” for me is still John Kalench. Bless his heart and may he rest in peace as he is no longer with us. His books read like his live seminars did with sincerity, authenticity and wisdom like a new law of reciprocity! He seriously changed lives! I wish that every person could read them whether they are in NWM or not. Brilliant masterpieces you created my dear friend, John! So many of us still truly miss you.
Hi Ted, There are many good books for Network Marketing practitioners as you have listed however when you mention of the book I would recommend to a prospect, the book “Copycat Marketing” by Burke Hedges straightaway came to my mind. It is a simple read and small enough to attract would be prospects that are lazy to read – in case if you meet up with one. Cheers!
Hi Ted, I guess what all the posts confirm is that there are a great many books out there written by people who served time in the trenches before putting pen to paper.
The moral is there is plenty of information out there for those willing to learn.

Don Failla 45 second presentation wins hands down every single time.
Yes the other books are great training material as well. I enjoyed Randy Gage’s book .. but it’s not for newbies, it’s more for MLM scientists. all the other books cover specific areas as well in personal development, mindset, etc. and are great when you are IN the business and trying to get to the next level, but won’t get you started.
After 19 years in the industry Ed Ludbrook’s 100% Confidence does the job for me as it explains WHY the industry is booming again, and we all know that UNDERSTANDING leads to BELIEF which leads to CONFIDENCE to taking ACTION and getting RESULTS as John Kalench set out in his classic WHEEL OF MOTIVATION.
Thanks so much for this list. I’ve read a few of these books, but was not aware of many others, including some mentioned that were not on the list. I am bookmarking this for future reference.
This book is so important, especially for “newbies”, as it teaches a simple to learn and follow system.
Let’s face it, if “newbies” don’t get past 1st base, they aren’t going to build and move on to greater things where the “deeper” books will be an asset.
In my opinion the best book ever written on Network Marketing in “Do This. Get Rich-For Network Marketers” by Jim Britt I have read most of the others and this one is over the top the best ever!
Great Network Marketing books!
Where is Bob Crisp best selling book “Raising a Giant’ over half million sold to date?
I agree Bob, there is a couple of self promotions in the list which wouldn’t have sold a fraction of that #. Your “Raising A Giant” is a GEM!
The Secret should be on this list, and in the number one postion!!!
Ed Ludbrook’s 100% Confidence has out-sold all of these

Where did you get this list from??
Don Failla’s 45 seconds/The Basics is best selling book ever – sold more than all these books put together.
Big Al’s books will have sold more than all put together as well.
Ed Ludbrook’s 100% Success Basics & Tidalwave are global best-sellers.
Mary Christiansen’s are in biggest sellers now
Jan Ruhe’s books have sold more than 12 of 16 of these books
Kiyosakis books like Business of 21st Century
You have to take the CDs out. Jim Rohn’s and Covey’s 7 Habits.
You’re missing Don Faila’s book (basics), Tom Schreiters books and the books of Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad, Business of the 21st century and Business School)

Ed Ludbrook’s books were king in Scandinavia for years…
Thank you for all the suggestions, I have added 5 Books.
The New Professionals of Dr Charles W. King and James W Robinson deserves a listing too.
What about Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill?
This is a powerfull book.

What about “As A Man Thinketh” By James Allen. More general success but its all about how and what you think. Right ?
Thanks so much for this list. I’ve read a few of these books, but was not aware of many others, including some mentioned that were not on the list. I am bookmarking this for future reference.
The 45 second presentation. Don Faila.

I strongly recommend that new networkers read John Kalench’s book #7
What about Dare to Dream Work to Win??? My team is studying this book, and we’re applying what Tom Barrett has advised, to our success.
