People making money of something does not prove it’s not a scam. I can, today, start an 'investment" firm promising returns of 10% a month (which in these financial times are pretty easy to make of the stock market if you invest wisely. People will start flocking to me liike flies to a turd. I use the money I make on the market to pay them. Word gets out and more people come. But the market will not be as volatile forever and I thus switch to paying old investors with new investors monies hoping for some more volatility in the market. As long as new people keep coming I can hold up the front and take a cut. I have thus turned from a very risky investor to a scam artist. Not only am I now illegal but highly immoral too
