Partylite Names New Executives

 

PartyLite Europe bolsters its management.

PartyLite Europe is ramping up its team for a strong future: Armel Peillonnex, current Group General Manager Switzerland and France has been appointed Senior Vice President PartyLite Europe as per February 1, 2013. Myriam Udry Burri, long-term member of management at PartyLite Switzerland, has assumed the position of General Manager PartyLite Europe as of January 1, 2013.

Furthermore, finance expert Torsten Richter, previously International Group Controller at PartyLite Europe has been appointed Vice President Finance Europe as per January 1, 2013.

Armel Peillonnex: Senior Vice President PartyLite Europe

As per February 1, 2013, Frenchman Armel Peillonnex will be assuming his responsibilities as the Senior Vice President PartyLite Europe. In his new position, the IT professional with a degree will manage the areas Digital Business Solutions, the PartyLite Technology Group, the PartyLite Europe Service Group and PartyLite Switzerland.

Peillonnex began here in 1996 as the Managing Director PartyLite Europe Technology GmbH. In 2006 he was appointed General Manager PartyLite France. In this position he took charge of the successful development of PartyLite France. Since 2011 Peillonnex has held the position of Group General Manager PartyLite France and Switzerland. Among other things, Peillonnex pursued his career development as an operations analyst at WR Grace. From 1991 to 1996 he was the Head of IT Operation at Grace Service Chemicals.

Myriam Udry Burri: New General Manager of PartyLite Europe

Myriam Udry Burri was promoted to the position of General Manager PartyLite Europe as per January 1, 2013, thus succeeding Eliane Sierro. Since 1997 Ms. Udry Burri was actively involved in the development of PartyLite Switzerland and PartyLite Europe in the areas of finance and administration. As of 2010 she has also distinguished herself as the HR Manager of PartyLite Europe.

Given her experience in the financial sector as well as in-depth corporate and industry knowhow Ms. Udry Burri is the perfect fit for her new position. During her education at the School for Economics of the University of Berne, Ms. Udry Burri demonstrated her capabilities working at Fidutrust Revision SA until 1992, where she was the responsible auditor on various national and international accounts. Subsequently, she built a successful five year track record in diverse positions at Baxter Diagnostics. Starting out as financial accountant/analyst, Udry Burri quickly advanced and soon ascended to the position of Chief Accountant Switzerland.

Torsten Richter: Vice President Finance PartyLite Europe

Torsten Richter was promoted to the rank of Vice President Finance Europe as of January 1, 2013. Richter began his career just about six years ago as accounting manager for Germany, and in April 2008 advanced to finance director and authorized signatory officer, assuming overall responsibility for the German finance team. In 2010 he was appointed to the position of Group Controller International at the European headquarters in Fribourg (Switzerland). In this role he was responsible for all European finance departments.

His scope of competence also extended to establishment and development of a European Controlling department to guide and secure corporate strategic objectives. Richter, who holds a degree in business administration and is a certified IHK (industrial and chamber of commerce) management accountant, was employed by the accounting and tax consulting firm of Kottwitz & Partner for seven years. Given his long-standing experience and solid knowledge in diverse financial areas as well as in intercultural finance management Torsten is the ideal professional to take on the position of Vice President Finance Europe.
