Based in Cairo, Egypt, 44-year-old Sameh Osman has always had a strong work ethic, but was just looking for the right opportunity to help him shine. He believes he has found this with LEO and is now going from strength to strength, running his own highly successful LEO business. Joining the organisation with his wife, Rabab Khalid Ahmed, in May 2013, Sameh has already achieved a great deal.
So, to discover the secret to Sameh’s success, Ted Nuyten asked him a few questions:
You’ve built a booming business with LEO, in just a few short years – what is the secret to your success?
It’s not so much a ‘secret’, but any success I have achieved is down to commitment, persistence and hard work. Before joining LEO, I worked as a mechanical engineer, a trader, a trainer and as a network marketer in other companies. I believe in putting 100% into whatever I do and now throw all my efforts into running my LEO business. I don’t let things get me down – I have a very positive attitude. I never give up!
What led you to join LEO and what do you like most about the organisation?
I met Atif Kamran, the Co-Founder of LEO, at an event. He was so wise and professional, and convinced me to join. Later, I met Dan Andersson, CEO and Co-Founder of LEO, who is a great man, and he also inspired me. He called me the ‘black lion’! I knew that LEO was an organisation that could help me fulfil my dreams, and I am pleased to say that I have not been disappointed. LEO gave me a new vision for my life – suddenly I had a bird’s-eye view of my future, and I liked what I saw! I especially like LEO’s vision and innovation, and I am always impressed by LEO’s success.
How does your LEO business fit in with your family commitments?
My family life is very good – I work full time and my work fits in well with my family commitments. I have five children – my kids have now joined private schools, and my oldest daughter has gone to university. I have a good work–life balance with my LEO business, which is important to me. I can choose my own hours and ensure that I am there for my family when they need me, while also working hard to make my business a success.
What motivates you to do well in your LEO business?
It is the transparency and continuous innovation of LEO that spurs me on. I am also very happy with the compensation plan offered and never fail to be impressed by the support that LEO provides whenever I need it. I am committed to delivering education and training to all segments of society, and this helps to motivate me. I have already achieved so much – I have partners in 19 countries and have become a trainer in 144 countries, travelling to many places in Africa, Asia and Europe.
You are clearly committed to helping others learn. How do you put this into practice in your network marketing team?
I decided early on in my network marketing career to help others and realised that both self-development and network marketing are just two faces of one coin; both seek to develop humanity. I always try to help those in my team succeed, by sharing my experience and offering advice whenever needed. I therefore hold a weekly Webinar to support, coach and help the members of my team succeed with their businesses.
What are your plans for the future?
I am now working on a BIG new dream – The Rise of the Entrepreneurs Event in Egypt. This is an educational, motivational and entertaining conference, targeting an audience of 15,000. Our aim is to deliver the concepts of entrepreneurship and financial freedom at an unprecedented event full of creative ideas – An event that compromises a wonderful mix of training, arts and entertainment, which raises the spirit of competition among the audience. This will take place on 15–17 December 2016, at Hall No.1, Cairo International Stadium.
