Born in the Dominican Republic, Julian Alcantara is Valentus’ first Spanish-speaking Diamond.
After University, and his degree in accounting, he realized very quickly the difference between fixed and variable income. Initially he concentrated on the commercial area and worked as a sales consultant with multinationals with great results.
In 2005, he traveled to Spain in search of a better lifestyle. He started from scratch, as a store assistant and then moved on to work in the commercial area until he became a manager in his last company. In 2010, he completely lost financial control, lost his home, lost his savings and he was finished, totally in debt.
When a friend introduced him to network marketing, Julian knew that this was a business model that met his needs.
“I was broke and willing to go anywhere, but I did not want to return to my country with the feeling of failure. Network marketing was the perfect solution to get out of the quagmire where I was immersed financially and emotionally.
Network marketing gave me back the dream of dreaming.”
In my first two years in the industry I did not have great results, but they served to teach me and build my belief in the business model. By 2014, I was ready for an opportunity and I started as a pioneer in a company and built it to the level of triple diamond with the highest revenues in Spain. But, after creating a very good organization, I realized that the clients were not duplicating and my billings began to fall.
Throughout my career in the industry, I discovered that it was a large sector of the population, that they accumulated great results and had a strategy to go with this business concept. I have been preparing myself with great mentors, making internal changes and creating resources to develop a great organization and now I am ready for success.
At the end of 2016, I began to evaluate other options. I had several offers, but I was looking for a company that meets the elements of excellence to make a career. When I met Valentus in June of 2017, I knew it was that company.
I traveled to the USA to meet the corporate people, Dave Jordan, it’s founder, and John Haremza, and everything behind it. I loved the culture of the company and its great potential. I decided to start from scratch and it was a year of great challenge. But challenge is necessary for success.
