Char Garcia Reaches Royal Black Diamond Rank At Elepreneurs

Char Garcia believes the key to creating a successful business is building friendships and connecting with other people. “No one can do it alone,” says the 40-year-old Sacramento, California, resident.

Char’s own story underlines the importance of connection.

The Army veteran served in Iraq and came back with plenty of demons. “I got into drugs and partying. I felt like I no longer had a purpose, and I didn’t want to be here any longer,” she says.

Things got so bad that Char rode her bike to a bridge … and asked God for a sign that she shouldn’t jump. “Right at that moment, my phone made a sound, and it was my friend, Robin Grigsby, going live on Facebook.” Something told Char to watch, so she did — “that stopped me that day from jumping,” she says. “I ended up meeting with Robin, and my whole life changed after that. She believed in me when I didn’t even believe in myself.”

Through Robin, Char was introduced to Elepreneurs, swapping out her old, destructive habits for her daily D.O.S.E. “That helped me become me again,” she says. “

 

Before I came to Elepreneurs, I was working five jobs, riding a bike to work 25 miles and barely scraping by. I never want to go back to that lifestyle again.”
