Germaine Parker Achieves Black Diamond Rank At The Happy Co.

Germaine Parker grew up on the tiny island of Guam and watched her parents work two jobs just to get by.

“Their second job was cleaning banks late at night,” she says. “I decided that when I grew up I would work at a bank too, which I eventually did,” she says.

Germaine loved the banking industry, but it took too much time away from her family, which includes three boys ages 19, 17 and 5 — one of whom has autism.

“I’m proud of my parents,” she says. “They raised us well, they taught us the value of working hard, and they made sure we believed we could do anything we wanted in life if we were just willing to put in the work. They always encouraged us to chase after our dreams.”

The Happy Co. wasn’t initially part of that dream, but it came at a time when Germaine and her husband were struggling to get by.

“It wasn’t too long ago that I was on food stamps and being chased by debt collectors,” she says. Germaine had tried her hand at network marketing in the past but didn’t feel it was a good fit.

“I knew if I wanted things to change, I had to change, so I went all in.”

While much hard work goes into her full-time business with The Happy Co., the 38-year-old Houston, Texas, mom and wife says she wanted something simple—something that was fun and produced results. “After trying the products and seeing what they did for me in just a week, I knew this was something I could stand behind,” she says.

These products have paid off in spades for Germaine. Before she became a brand partner with The Happy Co., her goal was to earn $3,000 a month from network marketing.

She made that a reality within just a few months of joining the company. Then she took her family on a Disney cruise—paid for in cash—and relieved her husband of some of their financial burden. As her income grew, so too did her vision.

“This year we have been able to purchase our dream home, and I feel extremely grateful for that,” she says.

Now Germaine feels like it’s her mission to find people like her mom and dad and give them the limitless potential she’s experienced from The Happy Co.

“My dad passed away this year right after he came home from work,” she says.

“We were not meant to go to school, go to work, pay bills and then die. I wanted to retire my dad so he could explore the world, and I never got to do that, so now I do it for someone else’s dad.

“I look back and think about my parents,” Germaine adds. “They struggled to get by, and I will never forget it. I wish someone had invited them to check out an opportunity like this; it could have completely changed their lives.”
