Brian McMullen Starts Nueva, As a Solution To Distributors Losing Their Incomes

An open letter to my peers in Network Marketing, from Brian McMullen:
I’ve been fighting for the rights of Distributors since I was the Vice President of the Distributor Rights Association 20 years ago.
I used to have a list on my desk that I titled “the MLM graveyard” and I would add to that list every week all the multi-level marketing companies that would start and then go out of business. So many companies that never should have even been allowed to enter our space have hurt the people they swore to protect. These companies always seem to fail from either incompetence or greed.
Fast forward to 2025. I was happy in my life. I’ve stayed out of the public eye for many years. Metaphorically speaking, I prefer to work on the car engine in the garage than to drive the car and get the attention.
I had no plans to start a network marketing product and lifestyle company, but then the company I was with for 23 years closed its doors with absolutely no notice last month. They did this the day before payday, so they wouldn’t have to pay commissions. Many of my closest friends lost their incomes overnight.
The old model is broken and needs to evolve.
We decided to get the team together—and together, to create something new, something unstoppable, something that could never again be taken away from us and all the people that join us.
I tell people that I am the founder of Nueva, but I didn’t create it. This new company, only weeks old, was created by the hearts and minds of some of the most brilliant individuals the world has ever seen—and also definitely by divine intervention.
We’re creating a new kind of company. And I believe that Nueva will completely change anyone’s ability to have a real, growing, legacy business.

Born in Portland, Oregon. Brian McMullen has been the #1 earner of 5 separate Network Marketing Companies in his career, spanning decades. He was voted into the Hall of Fame of Network Marketing in 2018. He has been a Network Marketing Company owner since 2019 and currently oversees two successful network marketing companies. He served as Vice President of the Distributor Rights Association for 11 years and is currently on the board of the Association of Network Marketing Professionals (ANMP). He is a member of the Tech Coast Angels Group which is the largest Angel Investor Network Group in Southern California. Brian co-owned Pacific Artists Group with Elton John’s and Guns N’ Roses’ previous manager. Brian’s management company managed such music talents as Morrissey, Joss Stone and Semi Precious Weapons. Although Brian is not a big fan of the formal education system, Brian has helped build schools in Africa because everyone on the planet should be able to learn how to read and write. Brian has helped with humanitarian efforts in Cuba and Colombia and also gives to charities helping endangered wildlife.

Brian has been my friend for almost 25 years. We’ve come close to working together in the past but the timing just never seemed to work out for me. He’s never been one to brag about his accomplishments but those of us that know him are in awe of his pattern of Successes. Brian is the quiet Genius behind some of the most powerful Leadership Teams in the Industry. He’s the definition of leading from behind. You’re in good hands with Brian McMullen. He truly wants to make a difference in the MLM Industry. I wouldn’t bet against him. He has nothing but a track record of Huge Successes. I’m proud to call him my friend. This gave me chills. After years in this industry, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the downright soul crushing. The fact that someone with Brian’s experience, heart, and history is fighting for marketers, That means everything.

I am looking forward to working with Nueva. I am new to being a Social Marketer since August 2022…when the business that I thought would be around forever just closed its doors I was like “What now? What am I going to do? Whom am I going to follow?” Then like from out of nowhere all our questions were answered! After 22 years in network marketing, I finally feel at home and safe with Nueva! The growth and the energy here in a matter of days surpasses anything I have ever done before.
