ByDzyne’s BD Cares: Serving the World, One Act at a Time
From November 1–5, ByDzyne carried out its annual BD Cares Gives Back Week, mobilizing Brand Ambassadors, leaders, staff, and corporate executives across multiple continents.
BD Cares has long stood as one of the company’s defining pillars: a global commitment to kindness, social responsibility, and expanding opportunity for underserved communities.
Co-Founder Nat Puranaputra stated,
“Service is the highest expression of leadership. Any company can talk about impact, but true impact is proven through action.”
Co-Founder Chanida Puranaputra added,
“BD Cares was created to uplift those who often go unseen. From day one, the mission has been to give value, dignity, and hope.”
This year, BD Cares emphasized giving time and service—acts of presence, compassion, and genuine human care. Globally, nearly 10% of the world faces hunger, and more than 2 billion people experience moderate or severe food insecurity. In Latin America, almost one-third of families struggle to secure sufficient food. BD Cares Gives Back Week highlighted this reality while empowering the ByDzyne community to take action across the regions they call home.
The ByDzyne Owners and Board partnered with the Children’s Hunger Fund to pack dry food—lentils, potatoes, and vegetables—for underprivileged families worldwide. These efforts supported communities dealing with persistent food shortages and economic hardship.
Across Ecuador, leaders volunteered at Banco de Alimentos in Quito, sorting, packing, and distributing food to help families battling hunger and malnutrition. In Villavicencio, Colombia, local teams prepared and delivered meals to homeless individuals, offering compassion and nourishment to those living on the streets. In Medellín, leaders spent meaningful time serving elderly residents at a local foundation, providing connection and care to individuals often overlooked.
In Bogotá, volunteers visited a foster home, sharing music, games, and meals with children who seldom receive consistent emotional or social support. In Mexico City, Brand Ambassadors and staff served at the Toby Foundation, an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, birds, and other exotic animals.
These acts of service extended beyond these highlighted regions. Teams across Panama, Peru, Chile, Honduras, and other Latin American countries contributed through food drives, neighborhood cleanups, support for children’s programs, and community outreach activities. Many Brand Ambassadors funded projects personally, demonstrating a culture of generosity that has shaped BD Cares from the start.
Co-Founder Chad Chong emphasized, “A company’s true strength is revealed through its impact on the lives of others. Service is where purpose becomes real.”
Co-Founder Nattida Chong added, “Giving back reflects the heart of leadership. It is our responsibility to show compassion, unity, and care wherever we can.”
BD Cares Gives Back Week reflects ByDzyne’s continued commitment to human connection, compassion, and meaningful contribution. For many within the ByDzyne community, this initiative highlights the values and priorities that have guided the company since its founding—showing that kindness, service, and unity remain central to its identity.
Moreover, these efforts reflect values the ByDzyne Owners deeply care about: supporting people in every facet of life. The approach is holistic—lifting individuals emotionally, physically, socially, and economically. Research consistently shows that acts of service improve well-being, strengthen community bonds, and provide vulnerable populations with greater stability, nourishment, and hope.
As ByDzyne continues to innovate within the business world, the commitment to social impact grows alongside it. The vision is to keep giving back, to spark change, to bring light, and to help build a kinder and more hopeful future. The story continues—both in entrepreneurship and in the service-driven mission to uplift communities around the globe.
