Stronger Together: USANA Foundation Leads SNAP Relief Effort for Utah Families
When times get tough, communities rise together.
With the recent pause of SNAP benefits in Utah, thousands of families are facing uncertainty about how they’ll put food on the table. In response, the USANA Foundation joined forces with local partners, volunteers, and school districts to ensure that no child goes hungry during this difficult time.
On November 5, 2025, the Foundation hosted “SNAP Relief – Partnership in Action” at the USANA Kids Eat warehouse in West Valley City—a large-scale community event that will bring together hundreds of volunteers to pack and distribute an estimated 3,000 weekend food bags for children and families in need across the Salt Lake Valley.

Volunteers from organizations including the Bountiful Food Pantry, For the Kids, the Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement, and Kristen Andrus’ Gathering for Impact joined USANA executives, employees, and community donors for an afternoon of service, collaboration, and compassion.
Working side by side, volunteers formed high-energy assembly lines to fill each bag with nutritious food designed to provide immediate relief for families affected by the SNAP cutbacks.
“This event demonstrates the incredible impact that collaboration can have,”
said Brian Paul, President of the USANA Foundation.
“When organizations and individuals come together to support families in crisis, we strengthen our entire community. One in six kids in Utah are at risk of going hungry, and being able to help feed these families is what the USANA Foundation is all about.”
The finished food bags were delivered to five Salt Lake Valley school districts—Granite, Canyons, Jordan, Murray, and Salt Lake City—as well as to partner organizations Bountiful Food Pantry, and For the Kids for additional school and community distribution.
This powerful display of unity reflects what the USANA Foundation stands for—neighbors helping neighbors and communities working hand in hand to bridge the gaps that no single organization can fill alone. With the help of generous donors, passionate volunteers, and caring partners, the Foundation continues to provide immediate nourishment and lasting hope for families facing hunger.
While this event offers short-term relief for thousands, the need for ongoing support remains urgent. Every contribution helps the Foundation continue its mission to ensure families have access to essential nutrition—locally and globally.
