The Happy Co. (HCo.) Suspends All Brand Partner Activities, No Longer Paying Commissions
Letter emailed today to Brand Partners of The Happy Co.
Unfortunately, it is a sad day for Brand Partners at The Happy Co. (HCo.), many of whom spent years building their businesses, and supporting and standing by the company throughout difficult periods of operational challenges at the company.
According to multiple sources, Brand Partners were notified today that they will no longer receive commissions on future orders.
One top field leader wrote on social media:
“This chapter has been so rough, just watching your business, your people — everything you’ve built crumble around you, due to actions/decisions you didn’t make.”
Letter reportedly sent to Brand Partners
Multiple sources have shared that the following letter was sent by The Happy Co. CEO John “JT” Thatch:
Dear Brand Partners,
We want to share an important update regarding the direction of our business and what this means for our Brand Partner community.
First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank you for your efforts and dedication over the past several years. We are truly grateful for the time, energy, and commitment you have given to our company.
We recognize the last several months have been challenging, with out-of-stock products, logistics issues, and commission disruptions. We also acknowledge that our communication has not been as timely as it should have been, and we apologize for that.
At this time, we want to inform you that, effective immediately, we are suspending all Brand Partner activities and will no longer be supporting this function of the business as we evaluate our overall business strategy.
As products come back in stock, we will continue to sell and service our customers and maintain corporate operations to support those efforts. We will continue to ship products that are currently in stock.
We will not be paying commissions on any future orders; however, current Brand Partners will receive a 20% discount on all future purchases. A coupon code will be sent soon.
We understand this is a significant change and may cause inconvenience. We appreciate all you have contributed and thank you for your understanding.
Respectfully,
John “JT” Thatch
CEO, The Happy Co.
