Neora’s Modern Way to Earn: A Compensation Plan Designed For the Future
By combining immediate rewards for personal selling with a clear path to leadership, Neora is building a modern entrepreneurial platform where every level of ambition has room to grow.
When Neora was founded 15 years ago, the company began with one simple belief: put people first, and everything else will follow.
That belief has guided the products Neora creates, the culture it protects and the entrepreneurial opportunity it provides to its Brand Partners. As the company prepares to enter its next chapter, it also inspired an important question:
How can we make it easier for more people to succeed?
The answer became Neora’s Modern Way to Earn, a modernized compensation plan that debuted on August 1.
This plan represents a strategic investment in the future of Neora’s Brand Partners. It was designed to provide a simpler way to begin, commissions earned from the first sale and a clear path for those who want to build something bigger.
Built for a New Era of Entrepreneurship
The entrepreneurial landscape has changed dramatically.
Today’s direct selling companies are no longer competing only with one another. They are competing with affiliate programs, creator platforms, social commerce and a growing gig economy offering people more ways than ever to monetize their personal recommendations, influence and time.
As a result, entrepreneurs expect more from the brands they represent.
They want flexibility and transparency. They want to know what to do first, what to do next and how their continued actions can move them forward. They want modern technology, simple systems and a business that fits their lives—not a life that has to fit around their business.
But many are also looking for something transactional platforms cannot provide: mentorship, personal development, meaningful community and the ability to build a business with long-term potential.
“Direct selling cannot measure itself only against other direct selling companies,”
said Amber Olson Rourke, Co-Founder and CEO of Neora.
“We are competing for entrepreneurial talent across multiple industries. We have to provide an experience that is equally intuitive, flexible and rewarding while preserving the mentorship, community and human connection that make our model uniquely powerful.”
Neora’s goal was to create an opportunity that could meet people where they are without limiting where they can go.
Designing Around One Defining Question
Olson Rourke has spent her life around entrepreneurship, and that experience shaped the philosophy behind the plan.
“People can create success when they have a clear path, simple systems and confidence that the work they are putting in will be rewarded,” she said.
Neora focused on three priorities:
- Make it simpler for someone to begin.
- Make every stage of progress meaningful.
- Create a clear, scalable path for those who want to build more.
Not every Brand Partner enters with the same goal. Some want to earn additional supplemental income by sharing products they believe in. Others envision building a team, developing leaders or creating a business with the potential to become part of their legacy.
Neora’s Modern Way to Earn was intentionally designed to recognize both.
Meaningful Rewards From the Start
Every strong direct selling business begins with customers.
Brand Partners can earn up to 35% commission on personal product sales to customers, paid weekly. This gives someone who enjoys connecting people with Neora products the ability to earn commissions without having to build a large organization.
“We believe creating happy customers is the foundation of every great business,”
Olson Rourke said.
“Someone who loves sharing our products should be meaningfully rewarded for doing that well. Personal selling is and always will be the foundation of the Neora opportunity.”
Neora also included a way to help Brand Partners deepen their own product experience. When a Brand Partner reaches $300 in personal sales, they can earn a $100 monthly product credit to shop Neora’s beauty and wellness portfolio for products they want to personally use.
The reasoning is straightforward: the most effective product ambassadors are genuine and consistent product users. When Brand Partners experience the products for themselves, their recommendations become more natural, informed and authentic.
Together, weekly commissions and monthly product credits create a clearer starting point for the modern social seller—one centered on products, customers and actions that are easy to understand.
A Clear Path to Build Something Bigger
For Brand Partners with a larger vision, Neora created a path designed to grow with their ambition.
As Brand Partners advance, the compensation plan recognizes progress through rank-advancement bonuses, expanding team commissions and rewards connected to helping others share products and serve customers.
The plan was intentionally designed to support both the seller and the builder. Someone can begin by earning from personal sales and, if their vision grows there is a clear path toward team development, leadership and longer-term income potential.
“We did not modernize our compensation plan simply to change how and when people are paid,”
Olson Rourke explained.
“We modernized it to expand what people believe is possible. The plan should meet people where they are without limiting where they can go.”
That distinction matters in today’s entrepreneurial marketplace. Affiliate and creator platforms may make it easy to earn from an individual transaction, but they often provide little ability to build beyond it and create a culture of repeat customers. Traditional direct selling plans, meanwhile, can sometimes make the path to more significant earnings feel overly complex to someone just getting started.
Neora set out to bridge that gap: a simple, relevant entry point with a scalable path for the more focused business builder.
Making Mentorship Part of the Model
One of the plan’s most intentional elements is its emphasis on mentorship.
Neora’s leaders did not build successful businesses alone. Someone believed in them, coached them and helped them see what was possible. The company believes that behavior should not only be encouraged culturally; it should be recognized within the business model.
Brand Partners can earn additional rewards as they help others develop customers, share products and progress through the ranks by sharing and selling product to customers. When they help someone else succeed, their own opportunity can grow alongside that person’s success.
“Generational team commissions are one part of the plan. The plan also includes a mentorship bonus available when someone you have helped develop advances, a check match on their earnings, and commissions on two additional leader generations, each with its own qualification requirements,”
Olson Rourke said.
“The structure reflects our priority on leadership development and helping other share products consistently.”
This creates an important point of differentiation. Neora is not simply providing a link, a commission and a dashboard. It is creating an environment where entrepreneurs can learn from people who have walked the path before them—and then be rewarded for helping others do the same.
Additionally, Neora’s model is built on a volume-based compensation structure, meaning advancement is driven by the total sales volume you and your team generate. This allows Brand Partners to achieve higher ranks without requiring specific ranks within their downline, creating a more flexible system for builders who want to help as many people as possible without being constrained by rigid structural requirements.
Income Designed to Create More Choices
The compensation plan also includes a recurring Monthly Lifestyle Bonus (ranging from $500- $35,000 a month) for eligible Brand Partners who achieve and maintain qualifying leadership ranks and personal sales levels.
In addition to a rank advancement bonus, Neora also wanted to reward leaders for maintaining their rank and create more stability of income at each level. The Lifestyle Bonus can be earned month after month as leaders continue creating customers, sharing products and helping others do the same. There are no restrictions on how the additional income must be used.
It could help cover a car payment, create more breathing room in a monthly budget, fund family experiences or simply give someone greater flexibility.
That is the larger purpose behind the benefit.
For Neora, the opportunity is not only about generating supplemental income. It is about creating more choices—and more possibilities for the life a Brand Partner is building.
A Compensation Plan Is Only One Part of Success
Neora is also clear about what a compensation plan cannot do.
“A business model does not create successful entrepreneurs. People do,” Olson Rourke said. “Our responsibility is to build an opportunity that rewards the behaviors associated with lasting success. But we also know the compensation plan is only one part of the equation.”
That is why Neora is investing across the full Brand Partner experience.
The company is pairing its modernized compensation plan with breakthrough product innovation, AI-powered customer tools, personalized digital experiences, stronger communication, world-class training and simpler systems designed to help Brand Partners build modern businesses more efficiently.
The objective is high-tech meets high-touch.
Technology can help identify customer needs, personalize communication, simplify follow-up and reduce administrative work. That allows Brand Partners to spend more time doing what they do best: building trusted relationships.
At the same time, Neora continues to invest in mentorship, leadership development, events and the high-trust community that has been one of its defining strengths for 15 years.
In a marketplace increasingly shaped by AI and algorithms, Neora believes trusted recommendations will become more valuable—not less. Technology should amplify people, not replace them.
Modernizing From a Position of Momentum
Over the past year, Neora has achieved 47% year-over-year sales growth and celebrated more than 12,000 Brand Partner rank advancements.
Rather than treating those results as a reason to preserve the status quo, Neora saw them as an opportunity to invest more deeply in its people and prepare the business for its next stage of growth.
Fifteen years in business has given the company clarity about what should evolve and what should remain constant.
Neora’s commitment to putting people first, building around trust and helping individuals grow remains unchanged.
More Than Another Way to Earn
Ultimately, Neora does not believe people are simply looking for another compensation plan or another way to earn extra money.
They are looking for a company they can trust.
Values that reflect their own.
Products they are proud to recommend.
Leadership that continually invests in their future.
A community that genuinely wants to see them succeed.
And a business they can build with confidence for years to come.
That is what Neora has spent the past 15 years creating. Its Modern Way to Earn is the next expression of that commitment.
“The future of entrepreneurship is not just about helping people earn more,” Olson Rourke said.
“It is about helping people create more choices, more confidence, more impact and a future they are excited to build. We designed this plan with our Brand Partners in mind, and I cannot wait to see what we build together.”
