Nicole Shelton Brings Years of Experience to TLC

Nicole Shelton joined Total Life Changes (TLC) on September 4, 2021, bringing 16 years of network marketing experience to the table. She felt that TLC was her best option because the company’s seven Core Values aligned with her own. Nicole explains what her favorite TLC Core Value is in detail:

“My favorite Core Value is ‘We Love Each Other Period,’ because that’s what I love most about this company. Everyone seems to care about each other’s success.”

She expresses that TLC is a family affair and has recruited her two daughters to be a part of her team: 

“Ashlyn and Allyssa, those are my daughters; they are 20 and 22. We are so super proud of them. I’ve been in this industry since my daughters were 3 and 6 years old, and I didn’t realize that they were catching onto everything I was doing. And they are doing amazing and leading their team to success. They inspire me every day.”

TLC Mind Body Spirit Event Brings Star Quality to Dallas

Total Life Changes wrapped up the Mind Body Spirit Tour with their Dallas Texas event at the Gaylord Texan Resort on October 15th and 16th. The virtual and in-person hybrid event focused on teaching new training segments, celebrated Life Changers’ achievements, and showcased products in new ways.

Friday, October 15th, featured a packed schedule from dawn to dusk, beginning with early morning meditation led by the #1 network marketer and TLC’s Elite Ambassador, Stormy Wellington.

Three fitness trainings followed meditation for all skill levels. Total Life Changes’ top leadership also enjoyed a private brunch with the executive team while other Life Changers participated in several training opportunities.

TLC’s Grand Ambassador, Twiler Portis, was selected as the keynote speaker and delivered a powerful message that provided the guests with inspiration, hope, and accountability to reach even higher.

The main event on October 16th followed with a grand entrance from a big brass band, an elegant female vocalist, and two aerial silk artists. CVO Jack Fallon gives his opening statements, addressing the importance of hosting events:

“There is nowhere else in the world; it doesn’t matter what country you’re from, or what language you speak, where you can be yourself and celebrate life.

 

Nowhere in the world creates this type of event that brings people together. We are a small beacon of hope for people around the world.”

TLC chose to sponsor The Sisters Network of Dallas to honor survivors of breast cancer. They gathered many donations and were grateful to help this honorable cause.

Seven winners were recognized for being living examples of TLC’s Core Values, including Sandra Berrocal, Nikola Tonny, Krystina Bramletta, Diana Vallejo, Claudia Molina, Charnice Harris, Becky Garcia.

The first Transformation Contest Winner was Asia Dixon Dieng, who shared a powerful statement about escaping her abusive relationship, losing weight, and finding herself:

“My father was so mentally abusive to my mother, and I was going stay in my marriage and do the same thing?

 

Physically you stop loving yourself first. I was so broken. And I said no more because I love me more than I can ever love anybody else. There are other women out there going through the same thing.” 

The next winner was a couple, Ashley Alexander and James Drummer. They supported each other through the struggle of losing weight, overcoming depression, and strengthening their relationship. Ashley describes what she struggled with before TLC:

“I went through so many different things in my life; I don’t have a good relationship with my biological mother.

 

I’m trying very hard to forgive her. I was in a deep dark depression, and joining the Total Life Changes family has been the best decision I’ve ever made.”

COO John Licari takes the stage and gets the crowd fired up for a whole new way to sell products. The Product Influencer Program training was revealed, which focuses on product promotion and commissions without the hassle of commitment.

TLC’s keynote speaker, Trent Shelton, spoke about winning championships, not just in the NFL but in life. He also highlights what it means to dedicate your life to bettering yourself:

“Millions of people die with regret, but my question is: ‘Is that going to be you?’ Get into your final days of life knowing that you’re about to die with your dreams because you never acted on making their dreams come true. You only got one shot at this. You have a choice; you can face everything and rise, or fear everything and run.”

Ana Cantera and Twiler Portis were honored with prestigious Grand Ambassador rings, and Stormy Wellington was given a top-ranking Elite Ambassador ring. TLC then closed out the event by honoring their Life Changers, encouraging them to share their goals and dreams to close out 2021, and announcing the following tour: Gravity World Tour 2022.

Hungry for More Brings a New Level of Health to TLC

Total Life Changes (TLC) is always looking for innovative ways to incorporate healthy habits into everyone’s daily routine. A balanced diet is the foundation of improving your overall health and helps fuel your workout.

TLC has introduced a new broadcast to their lineup, Hungry for More, starring Sean Bagan, Director of IT Infrastructure, and fitness expert Lukasz Malesinski. Lukasz explains how this show ties in with the #MyHealthMatters Community

“So what we’re trying to do with My Health Matters. If you think about the statement, it means to develop a healthy relationship with food, develop a healthy relationship with the mind and body through workouts.” 

This show focuses on cooking healthy and simple meals that provide high nutritional value. The first episode’s recipe was Chicken and Kale Salad, and Lukasz gave his tips for Sean’s post-workout recovery:

“Right after you had your MatriX (meal replacement) because we want to get the protein in our body so the muscle can start repairing its tissue. Then after about 30 to 45 minutes, I follow it with a meal.”

In the second episode, Sean and Lukasz created a tasty and lean steak dinner with a side of sweet potato. Sean gives his best medium-rare steak cooking tips to the audience:

“Usually, a medium-rare steak has an internal temperature of 145 degrees and medium is 160 degrees. The key is to make sure to flip the steak every 5 to 6 minutes. You want an even cook, and check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer.”

The third episode featured a Cheesesteak Stuffed Pepper Recipe. This delicious recipe is made healthy with lean steak and bell pepper to hold the cheesesteak filling. Lukasz breaks down the myth of red meat being less healthy than other meats:

“Isn’t red meat bad for you? No, it’s not. I believe it got a bad rap during the 1980s when fat and red meat were bad, and high cholesterol was a big concern. As long as you don’t overeat on it, you’re fine.”

Total Life Changes Helps Local Community Thrive

Total Life Changes (TLC) has always been active in the local Michigan area. Whether it be sampling, sharing smiles at an event, or providing warm energy, the company is focused on bringing health and wellness to the forefront of everyone’s mind. 

In the last year, TLC has made strides to be a big part of giving back to the surrounding area, including Macomb County, New Baltimore, Ira Twp., Lenox, Richmond, and even as far as Sterling Heights and Shelby Twp. 

TLC also sponsored youths’ baseball teams; providing jerseys and building them a completely new shed to store their equipment at Maynard “Red” Aurand Memorial Park. 

Over the spring and summer months, TLC has sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt in New Baltimore, a summer camp, triathlon, and a special event called Soggy Doggy that the Walter and Mary Burke Park hosted to let dog owners bring their furry friends for a swim in Lake St. Clair.

This fall, TLC has even more plans for community involvement. The company is sponsoring the Trick or Treat on Washington Street, a yearly Halloween event where families can enjoy trick-or-treating, fall activities, and cider and donuts.

Winter brings two more sponsorships from TLC, the first one being the Jingle Bell Run. This is a festive 5K run through downtown New Baltimore on December 12, 2021. 

Craig Cole, TLC’s Director of Public Relations, speaks about another upcoming holiday event, called Christmas in Anchor Bay:

“We are going to put together a shopping experience for the underprivileged local communities to give them an opportunity to shop for new items that have been donated and collected, whether it is toys or clothes. We want to embrace the people within our community and in the communities around us.”

Total Life Changes FSU and Ukraine Event Inspires Community

Total Life Changes (TLC) is not just a company with a worldwide reach. It is also a global movement that empowers communities to take their health and wellness to the next level. TLC’s FSU Headquarters geared up for another event with the help of TLC Headquarters’ corporate team.

This event, dubbed Synergy of Stars, was hosted in Moscow, Russia and Kyiv, Ukraine, from September 10th to September 15th. Independent business owners, dubbed Life Changers, were welcomed to the event and celebrated for all their hard work and dedication.

Director of International Relations, Rosa Gonzalez, recaps her challenging travel experience on the way to Russia on September 9th:

“We were at the airport at 4 PM, and the plane left at 6:45. We got on the first plane to Amsterdam, which was an 8-hour flight. Then we had a 5-hour layover, and when we checked in and got on the plane, they reviewed our documentation and told us we couldn’t get on. Our passport was for tourists, and we needed a business passport because they are not accepting tourists at this time.”

Despite these challenges, Rosa and her team took the next plane back to TLC Headquarters in Michigan. They rushed to their laptops and logged on virtually because they knew the FSU team needed their support and love. 

TLC FSU Ambassador, Varlam Grigorian, speaks about the movement behind this event, which he dubbed “Happy 10K”:

“The goal of TLC FSU is simple: we want to be the company that has the largest amount of people earning 500 to 1000 dollars per month. TLC’s My Health Matters Challenge Brings Daily Value to Community

Total Life Changes (TLC) released the first day of its 5-day My Health Matters Challenge on September 13, 2021, at 8 PM EST. Each day of this challenge focuses on one aspect of your life that can be modified or improved, incorporating the mind, body and spirit. The topics include Release, Replace, Revive, Routine and Reflect. 

The first broadcast, Release, was hosted by John Licari, Trent Shelton and Stormy Wellington. John opens the broadcast by talking about why health should always be at the forefront of your life:

“What you’re going to be exposed to and around for the next five days will transform you. My health matters because me and my wife Christina have two beautiful girls, and I would love to be present the day they get married, and I want to be in my grandkid’s life. I want to learn and know everything that will give me a greater chance at being a part of those special moments.”

He encourages anyone and everyone to start a health and wellness journey, no matter what age. John welcomes the next host, Stormy, to the broadcast, and she speaks about what it means to take care of yourself and encourage healthy behaviors:

“The truth is, we have all lost somebody from things that could have been prevented by us making better choices and taking better care of ourselves. These things could have been prevented by us making better choices and adopting better habits. Today is a very emotional day for me because after being a part of the health and wellness industry for over 12 years, the life I desired and how I wanted people to look at me have finally arrived. They are now calling me the fitness influencer.” 

Stormy speaks about her mother’s health conditions, how they affected her life and how she consequently passed away from them. She reminds the community that they must break the generational curse of bad family health and bad habits.

TLC’s My Health Matters Challenge Guest Speakers Inspire Community

Nick Santonastasso is a constant inspiration to anyone feeling down about their life or stuck in a rut. Nick was born with Hanhart Syndrome, which caused congenital disabilities that left him with no legs, an underdeveloped right arm, and a left arm with only one finger. Doctors told his parents that Nick’s mobility would be limited, but that never stopped him from achieving his goals. He has defied odds ever since and is now a bodybuilder, fitness model and inspirational speaker.

Gary Brecka is a human biologist, entrepreneur and founder of Streamline Medical group. He has a B.S. in Biology and Human Biology and is passionate about bringing people to their optimum level of health. GutCheck Launches at TLC’s Orlando Florida Event

Total Life Changes (TLC) Orlando Mind Body Spirit Event spanned three days from July 22 through 24th and featured a product reveal on Friday morning. The corporate staff kicked off the morning with a grand entry onto the main stage. CVO Jack Fallon gives some praise to the Corporate Team:

“Here is the team that does everything around the world that we need to do daily. So, I know, and all of the Life Changers worldwide know and thank all of you. They work tirelessly and never get enough praise from John or me, but we truly love them, and we know what they go through, and they love TLC.”

The mystery product is revealed from the smoke-filled showcase, and excited crowd members run to the stage, waiting for one of the bottles of GutCheck. CCO Scott Bania introduces the product in detail to the audience:

TLC’s Leadership Broadcast Soars To New Heights

Total Life Changes (TLC) corporate team members each have an exclusive broadcast on the company’s social media pages. Director of Human Resources Alexa Soto hosted a very special edition of her show, “Presenting the Best You,” with special guest, Brand Therapist Ryan Lesperance (Smash Creative).

Ryan was an essential part of developing TLC’s Seven Core Values, which are the pillars that hold up the foundation of the company’s mission and purpose. Alexa reviews the purpose of this show:

“The purpose of the Art of Leadership is that we can all become better leaders. We want to make sure that when we’re out in the field, we’re better leaders. And when we’re leading in our corporate office, we’re representing our core values in everything that we do.” 

Ryan states that core values can be easily made, but leadership must use them daily and make them count. 

“Leadership is part inspirational, and is part ‘follow me,’ but it’s mostly by example. And knowing that the leadership exemplifies these values first. Everyone on the executive team shows these core values.”

One of the core values, “Passion is our Fuel,” is the main spark for TLC’s reach and community interaction, says Ryan:

“It’s the thing that drives TLC. I’ve sat in on meetings with Jack (Fallon), John (Licari) and Scott (Bania) and I listened to them. They work tirelessly, but at the end of the day, food and things that we naturally look towards to provide us fuel are irrelevant. When passion is your fuel, it surpasses those things. You don’t need to instruct me to be passionate; my heart is already there.”

Gregg, Lenika Scott and Twiler Portis Achieve Grand Ambassador Rank

Total Life Changes (TLC) has always been celebratory of their Life Changers, no matter what rank they are achieving. Following the great success of Stormy Wellington and Ana Cantera achieving Grand Ambassador, Gregg and Lenika Scott, and Twiler Portis were close contenders to achieve it as well.

The couple and Twiler joined the company in 2013 when they were looking for a way to better their lives. Lenika Scott recapped how she felt when she and Gregg started with TLC.

“We were on vacation with our children, and I began to think about it. I was listening to a song and I looked at the publish date and it was ten years ago, in 2011. I began to thank God because that was the year we were about to go on food stamps. I looked at my husband and said, ‘We’re living the psalms.’ So, I want to encourage you, don’t stop believing in God because he’ll pull you out of the mess that you’re in.”

Twiler also told her story about starting with TLC. She recalled when she first met her husband with this story:

“I had an opportunity to be around someone who didn’t settle, who was just very inspirational. When God called him home, I had to finish what we started together. It’s an amazing opportunity, and it sounds cliché, but the opportunity to talk to someone and find out what they want. Because of your skill, talent and experience, you’re helping them shape a game plan.”

She welcomed a new group of Life Changers to her team and speaks from the heart about what this team means to her and TLC as a company:

“The one thing I love about experiencing some level of success is if you’ve done it once, you can do it again. And that’s super exciting! On July 2nd, TLC announced that the three Life Changers advanced their ranks to Grand Ambassador. The corporate staff enjoyed confetti and champagne during a “Breaking News” announcement as they celebrated the trio’s success. COO John Licari shared his excitement to the entire team:

Total Life Changes Puts their Mind, Body, and Spirit into Orlando

Total Life Changes (TLC) put on another show-stopping performance at their Mind Body Spirit Orlando Event on July 22nd through 24th. Thursday’s event included relaxing essential oil training by oil guru Mike McClean, aka “Cowboy Mike.” Friday’s event focused on the bigger picture: business training, reaching international markets and even tax planning.

Saturday was the most exciting day, as the Main Event rolled in with CVO (Chief Vision Officer) Jack Fallon and COO (Chief Operating Officer) John Licari and the rest of the corporate team. International Business Owners, dubbed “Life Changers,” were welcomed via the Virtual Audience, waving flags and representing their respective countries. From Associate to Grand Ambassador, all ranks were celebrated with cheers, applause and happy tears.

The Transformation Story Segment is what everyone looks forward to at TLC events. Winners are chosen to share their health journey with TLC, and Orlando’s first winner was Tiffiney Booker. She is a proud mom of five who completely turned her life around in October 2019, fighting her negative mindset, and lost a total of 60 lbs. Tiffiney spoke from her heart:

“There were days I couldn’t get out of bed and walk. And people would say, ‘Why is she dancing? Why is she celebrating?’ But at my age, to have my child help me that broke my heart. I said I have to continue and push forward. I had to remember what my ‘Why’ was, my children.’ I not only transformed my body, but my spirit was also transformed, and transformation is elevation.”

The next winner was Gwendolyn Branch, who came onto the stage with spectacular energy, singing, dancing and getting the crowd fired. Before TLC, she felt broken; she gave up on her image and felt sluggish. She recalled her childhood and how she always had issues with her weight since middle school. Gwendolyn summarized how she felt:

“I don’t jump in vain; I jump because now I can. There was a time I wasn’t? grounded; I jump out of victory. Don’t quit; keep going; you’re about to run into your destiny!”

The next segments were the Core Value Awards, which are connected to TLC’s 7 Core Values. The winners were Carla Mass, Danissa Cipriani, Alexander Morales Perez, Jay Pratt, Carmen McClinton, Sharmane Miller, and Marci Millsap. Each shared their personal story and were celebrated by their teams and TLC’s corporate squad too.

Kairee Douglass was remembered as a Total Life Changes AV legend, and donations from the event will go to a Memorial Scholarship for South Lake High School to honor Kairee’s passion for photography and video. Jack Fallon shared his thoughts:

“He was a calm spirit, no matter if I was trying to get things done. I would look at him because he was so calm. The moments that you share with someone who passed on, I’ll remember them forever. We will continue to recognize him forever.”

Guest speaker Gary Brecka broke down the effects of Delgada and NutraBurst® on a scientific level, citing credible studies. Gary concluded that there is one key ingredient to becoming successful, and that is wellness:

“In 22 years of research, I have seen the word ‘well-being’ 5 times. Well-being is the root of wealth. And I started to think about what this meant. As a scientist and researcher, I had heard about this universal law of attraction. I disbelieved it, but one day I studied the law of gravity, constructive interference. Which means you can get energy from conversation and touching someone else’s life.”

The last surprise of the event was Grand Ambassador Stormy Wellington, who had earned her own TLC branded Jeep Rubicon and customized ring. Jack Fallon addressed her and the other Ambassadors with some kind words:

“They have gone through so much pain, suffering, tears, joy. And that means their passion for you is never going to stop.”

Dominican Republic native Ana Cantera has always been loyal to TLC and strives to be a shining example for other Life Changers. Prior to TLC, Ana was a poor single mother and struggled to feed her children, but she has worked hard and provided the best for her family, inspiring other Dominicans and Latinos to follow in her footsteps.

Ana was the second Life Changer to qualify for the new Grand Ambassador Rank, and her sponsor, Stormy Wellington, supported her completely. Global Director Rossalba Molina Tineo Brings Her Tips to TLC

Total Life Changes (TLC) is always looking to reward and challenge its Life Changers. And one of the shows that highlight these is Tips from the Field, hosted by CCO Scott Bania and airs on Monday Nights at 6 PM EST on the TLC Facebook Page.

This second interview is from a two-part series that focuses on bringing the tips and tricks of the retail business to the Life Changers themselves. Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Rossalba Molina Tineo reached Global Director Rank within her first six months, establishing herself as a prime example for other Dominicans.

She says this fast-paced experience caused her not to get as in-depth with the products as she wanted to, and she gives the advice to combat that:

“What I suggest for everyone to do is to study a lot. Study the products and go on your back office to the help center. It’s like a university; you’re going to find everything there, each product. You have to be a product of the product.”

Rossalba makes sure to market herself with personalized business cards that show her and her client’s real results. She says to live in the moment by celebrating every small victory within the team:

The Sunday Hustle Warms Hearts on Father’s Day

Total Life Changes (TLC) has always kept their broadcasting schedule full of new and exciting content for all audiences. And Director of Fulfillment and Logistics, Evan Brengman’s show The Sunday Hustle is no exception, bringing in a younger audience of viewers every Sunday morning at 11 AM.

On Father’s Day, Evan brought in his dad, Kenny Brengman, to offer some guidance and a look into his own personal story as a father. He highlighted what being a dad means to him:

“Being a father is very hard at times, but it’s great to see that you can teach your children the right way to do things, like my father and my mother did. Being a dad and being a mentor is one of the hardest things to do, because they look up to you and sometimes you make mistakes. But you love them period.”

Prior to TLC, Kenny’s family including his 12 siblings were involved in the restaurant business. After 18 years of hard work, Kenny was looking for a career change, and was approached by CVO Jack Fallon at his daughter’s hockey practice. He was offered a job in the warehouse, and says it was truly something he appreciates to this day:

“I thank Jack from the bottom of my heart, because this is a total life change for me. I can provide for my family and take them on trips. It feels great to be a part of a great community like TLC, because everybody that you see loves each other.”

Kenny delivered a message of inspiration, saying that it’s all about pushing yourself to get past your obstacles and achieve your goals:

“You can always fall back on your parents, and don’t feel sorry for yourself. Because if you keep pushing you will succeed. Its all about what you have in your heart. I know with God’s help and the push that you have in your heart, you’ll succeed in what you aim to get in life.”

Kenny gave some sage advice for new fathers who are having their first child:

“Be patient. It’s very hard when you first have a baby, and they’re crying and you want them to stop. You just need to have patience and just cuddle them and love them like nothing else in the world. They’ll stop crying and you’ll be so proud, just nurture them.”

Evan closed the show by sharing some general thoughts about family and encourages everyone to live in the moment:

“Since we’re in our two-week celebration of the life of Kairee Douglas, it’s just another gentle reminder that life is so short. Be patient, spend some time with your kids, and if you’re blessed and lucky to still have a father alive, tell him that you love him, spend some time with him. Because at the end of the day, all we have is memories to take with us.”

Radio Host Spike Inspires CVO and COO of Total Life Changes

Reaching out to the local community is always a big part of Total Life Changes’ (TLC) mission and purpose. From their tree lighting to benefit disabled children, to restaurant takeover events, to the teacher outreach program, they always try to offer everything they can to support others and make a long-term impact.

CVO Jack Fallon and COO John Licari headed to the Mojo In The Morning studio to record their podcast, The Hope Dealers, with co-host Spike. John opened by thanking Spike, saying Mojo in the Morning is more than just a radio show:

“We like to remind people all the time about what they’re a part of. There’s mom’s taking their kids to school, people are driving to a job they don’t like, and this is their 30 minutes of happiness. I think that goes unnoticed sometimes; people don’t realize that you are part of someone’s life.”

Spike recalls the first time he was invited on the air, which happened all because he continued to hope for a future in radio:

“I was at the studio for four hours later than I should’ve been on a Friday, and someone called in sick, and the guy said, ‘You know what, you’re going on air this afternoon, your first time on the air.’ And I’d been waiting for that my whole life.”

Spike explains the most memorable moment of his career so far and describes the charity work that the company has done. They have partnered up with Wish Upon a Teen, which focuses on bringing disabled kids to a prom that they wouldn’t otherwise experience:

“Nancy, the executive director, and her husband got involved with this group because of their daughter, whose name is Hope. She’s someone who’s never let any of her life challenges set her back.”

Total Life Changes donated money to this Wish Upon a Teen because family is vital and a massive part of what they stand for as a company. Spike expressed his gratitude:

“It just shows that in people’s hearts they want to help, but a lot of times they don’t know-how. And you guys are creating the vehicle and making it easy for them, and that’s what I love.”

New Show “Eat to Live” Makes Healthy Eating Easy

Total Life Changes (TLC) hosts many live broadcasts and features YouTube videos that provide an array of entertainment and knowledge. And with new health and wellness coach Sara Hoffman, they can provide even more resources for healthy eating and meal prepping.

This pilot episode of “Eat to Live” premiered on June 3rd, 2021, and focused on meal prepping:

“We featured a local franchise restaurant, Freshii, which specializes in mix and match bowls and juices. We explained all about options for meal prepping and making your meal prepping easier.”

Sara wants to inspire her audience to shift their diets with meal swaps and healthier options. She explains the goal of the show:

“The goal is to help people get inspiration and ideas for healthy cooking, incorporating TLC products. By focusing on switching any foods, they eat for pleasure to healthier options so they can still enjoy eating while switching their focus to more nutrient-dense options.”

Sara gives advice for those who are struggling with eating healthy, saying we tend to be programmed to eat a certain way:

“We tend to program ourselves to crave the foods we eat, so if you start eating healthier options, it will help you switch your cravings. Having the awareness that you will crave whatever you eat can help you make a shift to more healthy options that you like.”

Sara aims to include a variety of international cuisine into her shows. She also wants to explore various traditionally unhealthy recipes, adding her healthy twist to them, and incorporate TLC products.

Sara says she’s most excited to reach out to new places and engage with her cohosts during the broadcast:

“I think I’m most excited for the engagement with the guests and the interaction and feedback from the audience. I’m also excited about our protein pancake recipe.”

She explains the show’s title and what it means to her, saying its more than just food:

Total Life Changes Brings “More Life” to Miami

Total Life Changes (TLC) always brings a unique energy to their events. And private events hosted by members of their community are no exception. TLC was invited down to Miami for an event, “More Life Miami” hosted by Global Director Feliz Nichols. CCO Scott Bania explains the goal of the event:

“This opportunity, these products and this lifestyle offers them more to their life. The goal of the event was to introduce new guests to Total Life Changes as a company. We introduce them to our products, which allows them to become Independent Business owners, also known as Life Changers, live a healthier lifestyle, and earn a part-time or supplemental income.”

Scott’s favorite part of the event was Aramis’ product testimony and Phillip Birchfield’s anniversary celebration:

“Aramis talked about the products and her testimony. She was very candid and enthusiastic about her transformation. And, of course, we celebrated Ambassador Phillip Birchfield’s seventh anniversary in Total Life Changes. We surprised him with an award and a recap video.”

Scott says that this event ties into TLC’s mission by exposing customers and Life Changers to the company as a whole:

“By way of trying to expose everyone possible to our producst and our community, our lifestyle and ultimately if they are looking for an opportunity. We are trying to attract as many individuals as possible into our community and have them enjoying their results from our products.”

The main takeaway of this event was that meeting in person benefits the Life Changers emotionally. Miami is also close to Orlando, which has a large population, and TLC aims to expand their markets as much as possible in that area.

Scott describes the connection of this event to the central tour theme, Mind Body Spirit:

“I believe all of our TLC events tie into Mind Body and Spirit as we welcomed guests into the room, as Rosa and I spoke with many of the individuals that we have not seen in some time. When people use our products, it’s not just their body that’s being transformed; they are impacted mentally and spiritually, they are feeling better about themselves, they have more confidence.”

Total Life Changes Honors Gabriela Ortiz with Vitruvian Award

Total Life Changes (TLC) honored another community member at their Mind Body Spirit Houston Event in April. Director Gabriela Ortiz received the second Vitruvian Award, which represents the company’s mission and purpose.

Gabriela says she feels very honored to receive this award. She speaks about what winning this award means to her:

Director of Public Relations, Craig Cole, collaborated with Macomb County Chamber and Purpose Point to bring a fun and engaging golf outing to encourage networking and community outreach. Craig describes the unique opportunity:

Laquail Johnson Named First Vitruvian Award Recipient

Total Life Changes (TLC) created a new award to go along with their Mind Body Spirit Tour for 2021. The Vitruvian Award represents everything that the company stands for and is part of the TLC logo. CCO Scott Bania describes the origins and meaning of this:

Mannatech Q1 Revenue Up 4.7% To $38.3 Million

Mannatech, Incorporated, a global health and wellness company committed to transforming lives to make a better world, recently announced financial results for its first quarter of 2021.

First Quarter End Results

First quarter net sales for 2021 were $38.3 million, an increase of $1.7 million, or 4.7%, as compared to $36.6 million in the first quarter of 2020. Income from operations increased to $2.8 million for the first quarter of 2021, from $2.0 million in the same period in 2020.

Net income was $2.2 million, or $1.04 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2021, as compared to net income of $2.8 million, or $1.15 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2020.

Gross profit as a percentage of sales increased to 81.2% for the three months ended March 31, 2021, as compared to 80.9% for the same period in 2020.

Commission and incentives as a percentage of net sales remained constant at 40.7% for each of the three months ended March 31, 2021 and 2020.

For the three months ended March 31, 2021, overall selling and administrative expenses increased by $0.2 million to $7.1 million, as compared to $6.9 million for the same period in 2020. The increase in selling and administrative expenses was due to a $0.3 million increase in payroll costs, a $0.1 million increase in marketing costs, which was partially offset by a $0.1 million decrease in stock-based compensation and a $0.1 million decrease in contract labor costs.

For the three months ended March 31, 2021, other operating costs decreased by $0.2 million, or 4.4%, to $5.1 million, as compared to $5.3 million for the same period in 2020. The decrease in operating costs was primarily due to a $0.3 million decrease in travel and entertainment and a $0.1 million decrease in office expenses, which was partially offset by a $0.2 million increase in consulting fees.

For the three months ended March 31, 2021, provision for taxes was $0.3 million, or an effective rate of 13.3%. For the three months ended March 31, 2020, taxes were a $0.9 million benefit. The effective tax rate for the three months ended March 31, 2021 was different from the federal statutory rate due primarily to the mix of earnings across jurisdictions and the associated valuation allowance recorded on losses in certain jurisdictions.The effective tax rate for the three months ended March 31, 2020 was different from the federal statutory rate due primarily to the $1.2 million benefit recorded in connection with the carryback of U.S. net operating losses as allowed by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”), enacted March 27, 2020.

The approximate number of new and continuing independent associate and preferred customer positions held by individuals in Mannatech’s network and associated with purchases of products as of March 31, 2021 and 2020 were approximately 187,000 and 166,000, respectively. Recruitment increased 4.6% in the first quarter of 2021 as compared to the first quarter of 2020. The number of new independent associate and preferred customer positions in the company’s network for the first quarter of 2021 was approximately 19,538 as compared to 18,687 in 2020.

Total Life Changes Completes a Momentous First Quarter

Total Life Changes (TLC) is always striving to bring even more to its community and always strive to better its business practices and content. 2021 brought a whirlwind of events, challenges, enrolled customers and Life Changers, and live broadcasts.

TLC’s complete line of essential oils, blends, diffusers, hand soap and sanitizer were released at the beginning of the year. It took off during the first Total Life Essentials training at the virtual event and was celebrated in many ways.

Total Life Changes continued to roll out the red carpet at their events. They hosted a fully virtual event in February, then traveled safely to Dubai in March for an intimate event with international Life Changers. The TLC corporate crew then flew down to Miami to host a special Latin America-based event for the Wanderlust team. TLC then came back to headquarters and helped host another Latin American event. The team finally was off to Houston, TX, for their first hybrid in-person and virtual event, featuring acclaimed guest speaker and CEO of Advance your Reach, Pete Vargas.

Total Life Changes always makes sure to give back to those in need. At every event, they reach out to a charity and double the offerings made by their audience. Featured charities included Houston Food Bank and Pay it Forward. Other charities were also honored during the daily live broadcasts where Life Changers were randomly chosen to get $250 for them and a charity of their choice. In February, local teachers were also celebrated for all their hard work during these difficult times and given gift cards and TLC products to help them out.

TLC was honored by Direct Selling News by making it to number 17 on April’s Top 50 Domestic Momentum Rankings. This ranking measures what companies had the most social media growth in the last month. The company’s main social media page hit 500K likes, which is a fantastic milestone and looks to reward one random fan with a Peloton bike.

Director of Human Resources Alexa Soto was welcomed to the weekly broadcast schedule. Her new show “Presenting the Best You” premiered in April and features women’s empowerment, leadership, fashion, and much more.

An Enrollment Special was offered on April 19th through April 21st in honor of National Tea Day. Over 3787 were upgraded from customers to Life Changers and 6708 were enrolled as Life Changers, TLC’s term for independent distributors, for only $4.21, a tiny fraction of the cost of the typical enrollment price.

TLC also added a Health and Wellness Coach, Sara Hoffman, to their team. She focuses on bringing meditation, nutrition, and yoga practices to the TLC family and even has her show “Mindful Mondays” featured on TLC’s YouTube page.

Three Virtual 5K’s were hosted in February, March and April. Thousands of people worldwide joined in and ran or walked a 5K distance and engaged on social media to show their support.

Mind Body Spirit Houston Event Wows Crowd

Total Life Changes (TLC) was more than grateful to get back on the road for their Mind Body Spirit Tour. The corporate team headed out to Houston, Texas and got ready for their second event of the year, this time as a hybrid in-person and virtual event. Jack Fallon greeted the audience with excitement and positivity:

“We’re going to celebrate God, life and TLC. The energy is so thick today. I’m truly blessed, and I hope all of you feel that today as well.”

TLEO Oil Specialist Mike McClean made another appearance, created a few beneficial blends to enjoy aromatically and topically, and focused on finding your unique combination of oil:

“I encourage everybody to find an oil that you like, one that speaks to your nose. There’s an old saying amongst essential oilers, ‘The nose knows.’ Your body and your mind will work together and tell you which oil speaks to you.”

The Seven Core Value Awards were given to Vanessa Moyse, Natalja Ivanova, Cheryl Mazique, Jessica Landrum, Venice Anderson, Tebra Whitsett and Luis Young.

TLC’s Health and Wellness Coach Sara Hoffman takes the stage and highlights the importance of a healthy diet:

“The food we eat can either impair our digestion, or they can assist with your digestion. When we have foods that are empty calories, our body goes into starvation mode. We’re going to reach for the quickest source of energy we can find, which are sugars and carbs. So I want to take my clients from deficiency to sufficiency.”

The Transformation Award winner was Annie B, who came from the Bronx. She fell into an 8-year depression and dealt with extreme social anxiety, but she tried the products and joined the company as a Life Changer after losing her office job. She says her transformation isn’t complete and wants to offer others inspiration:

“I feel like God put me here to give people hope. If God can move me, a person with no self-worth or hope, to stand here in front of all of you beautiful souls, then I believe my job is to inspire, give hope, and show people that there is a way. Everyone has potential, but they have to believe.”

TLC’s guest speaker Pete Vargas focuses on his story braid framework, which includes incorporating heart, head, a CTA, and circling back to the heart to approach clients and other people about your business and transformation. Pete spoke about his adopted daughter Emma and how she beat the odds:

“She was on oxygen 24/7; the doctors told us she would never walk or talk and would not make it to two years old. And my wife did not buy into that. Today, she is eight years old; she’s running, she’s talking. Everything that should’ve happened didn’t happen. It was from the power of prayer and the power of God.”

Another transformation winner, Bobby Patterson, was highlighted and shared his journey of losing over 100 pounds and overcoming challenges.

“I have this saying, ‘You can’t be anything to anyone until your everything to yourself.’ When I embraced having a life of abundance, it doesn’t mean that I don’t give; I give now out of an overflowing cup. What you see before you are a direct result of the work that has taken place on the inside now manifesting itself on the outside.”

The Vitruvian Award winner was Gabriela Ortiz and she completely relates to what the award truly means:

Erika Delgado First Colombian to Hit Global Ambassador Rank

Erika Delgado has always been interested in improving her health and stumbled upon Total Life Changes (TLC) and their products in 2016. Shortly after having success with Iaso® Tea and Resolution Drops, Erika and her husband visited the Colombia headquarters for a business presentation, and she was inspired by Ana Cantera:

“I am a woman of numbers, and if they do not give me numbers, I will not commit to anything. So that day I learned about the TLC compensation plan, I found the video of our beloved Executive Ambassador Ana Cantera and I played it like ten thousand times until I understood. Total Life Changes (TLC) brought the energy to the Latin American team, and it was felt, despite it being a virtual event. John Licari and Jack Fallon opened the event by setting the tone:

1000 Families Leaders Come Back to TLC Headquarters

Total Life Changes (TLC) always loves to celebrate and make every one of their Life Changers feel special and appreciated. So, they rolled out the red carpet, TLC style, for Executive Ambassadors Stormy Wellington and Ana Cantera, impressive leaders of the movement and team, 1000 Families.

Leaders and guests were welcomed safely with confetti and music, and the corporate staff was excited to bring them back to headquarters for an intimate training event. Attendees enjoyed being a part of Mindful Monday, which was a meditation session hosted by Stormy herself. Stormy and Ana were also special guests on Jack and John’s podcast named, “The Hope Dealers” and celebrated on the daily broadcast “Live with Jack and John.”

Ana Cantera summarizes her career prior to network marketing:

Total Life Changes Welcomes a Wanderlust Team Event

Total Life Changes (TLC) always looks to bring its message to as many global markets as it can, with Latin America being a massive part of the TLC culture and community. So, the corporate crew flew down to Miami, Florida to celebrate with the Wanderlust team which is headed by Enileidy Amaran. CVO Jack Fallon opened the event by expressing his excitement about traveling and having in-person events:

Mike McClean Trains TLC on Essential Oils

Total Life Changes (TLC) released their complete essential oil line, Total Life Essential Oils, in January, and it took off with the community. But they needed a subject expert to teach the customers how to use them and why they are so special. Essential oil guru Mike McClean came back to TLC and went into more detail about this topic.

Total Life Essentials Oils are sourced from the states and countries where the plants are indigenously grown.

“On each one of the boxes, you can see where we source our oils from, Italy, Spain, Australia, North America, Mexico.,” says Mike. “We have gone all over the world to source them natively.”

Another benefit to these oils is that they’re precisely harvested. This refers to the cultivation of the plants. For example, the lavender must be harvested between a specific window to harvest the best plants.

After harvesting, the botanicals head to the extraction process. According to Mike, this process is different depending on what plant or fruit is being used for the essential oil:

“With our citrus oils, we used what’s called a cold press. I always think of two big stones rolling over the fruit and squeezing the oil out into a big vat. Now, something like lavender, peppermint use a steam distillation process. This is a big pot that we put the botanical in, heat the water, and the steam grabs the oil.”

The oils are then sent for rigorous testing to ensure that unwanted substances are filtered out of the oil using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, or GCMS.

“This helps us ensure that the constituent profiles of the essential oils are accurate. It’s essential to go through this process to prove that we’re selling a true lavender oil, for example,” says Mike. ”We also test for addition microbes, heavy metals and herbicides and pesticides, so that what we give is 100% pure essential oil.”

A unique feature of TLC’s essential oils is the nitrogen flush used during packaging. This process ensures the shelf life of the product and removes all oxygen to prevent oxidation:

“This is a huge deal because, to my knowledge, we’re one of the only mainstream companies that are utilizing this process to help with the integrity of the essential oils.”

Mike wraps up his training by looking to the future of the company with essential oils:

“We’ll continue to work together as a company and as a team to continue to grow our experience base. There’s so much more that I can share with you. But everyone has to start somewhere. Total Life Changes Gears up to Get Back on the Road

Total Life Changes has always brought the most to their events. And last year was no exception, even when the events were virtual. But as restrictions ease up, in-person events are becoming more widely accepted. The events team wanted to bring a new type of event to TLC and invite a safe amount of people to join them. Director of Events Tricia Crawford explains her vision:

“We initially knew that we wanted to go somewhere warmer where places were opening up safely and had a larger capacity. We’ve seen several events in Florida, and Florida and Texas are two of our largest states. And we have a large contingent of Life Changers in Houston, which wouldn’t require as many people to travel.”

Going back to in-person events is refreshing, and Tricia highlights the difference between in-person versus virtual events and the benefits of being there in real-time:

“The biggest difference is for the people that are in the room and the presenters—feeling the energy that everyone has come to know and love at TLC events. Nothing can replace that face-to-face interaction with our Life Changers. We aim to provide the same great experience, whether you’re there in person or virtually, but there’s a difference of how you feel it, and it’s more effective in person.”

Tricia reveals some unique features that are being implemented for this event:

“We’re adding a Mind Body Spirit experience room. It will be a flow-style exhibit where people can come and visit while they’re onsite. Each station will offer different training tools, resources, and items that can be purchased at the store to assist their mind, body or spirit.”

Everyone is excited to get back to a sense of normalcy, and this event will be no exception:

“We’re all very excited to see how this goes; it’s our very first hybrid event. The most exciting part is that we have an opportunity to reach our Life Changers around the world,” says Tricia. “We’re excited to deliver our Life Changers more than what’s expected through this new virtual hybrid experience.”

Of course, the safety of guests is TLC’s top priority, so Tricia explains the procedures and precautions that will be taken:

“We wouldn’t be going back on the road if we didn’t think we weren’t able to do so safely and responsibly. We chose a property that is following their corporate guidelines. Masks are mandated on the property and in public spaces. We’ll be doing temperature checks upon entry, and we’re providing guests with a safety kit that has a mask and hand sanitizer, and we will be socially distancing with all seating.”

Tricia summaries her thoughts about the upcoming event, saying it can be duplicated:

“I love everything about our TLC events, even the shift to do them virtually. I found them equally rewarding because we were able to connect with so many more people. What we do at TLC is help change people’s lives. At our events, you feel that more than anywhere else. You see the reaction of people whose lives have changed; you hear the stories face-to-face, hear how you make people feel, see the excitement on their faces, see the tears, joy, fun, and laughter. And having the opportunity to see an audience face to face and feel that emotion is the part I’m most looking forward to.”

Sara Hoffman Welcomed as Health and Wellness Coach

Total Life Changes is always looking to improve its offerings to customers and Life Changers alike. Looking for a subject expert to provide wellness and health advice, as well as fitness, yoga and mindfulness was the next step in their journey.

Sara Hoffman was the perfect addition to the team. She has coordinated Zumba-thons, yoga events, wellness retreats, and implemented group fitness programs into local gyms. Sara even received her yoga training in Bali, Indonesia, where the very best instructors can learn in an authentic environment. Sara owns a website, Wellness with Sara where she offers yoga classes and health guidance, and hosts a program, High Vibe Health, which focuses on guiding vegans and vegetarians so they can get the most complete nutrition in their diets.

“My goal is to round out anyone’s health routine. I want to always find the missing link in people’s health journey and help to make that holistic experience available across the board.”

Sara says that TLC’s culture really drew her in, and from that moment, she knew this was the right place to be:

“I was really excited to join this fun culture that’s full of passionate like-minded individuals who truly want to implement holistic health into their wellness-oriented business. These are people who truly want to make a difference.”

She has joined the TLC lineup with her weekly Facebook broadcast, Mindful Mondays.

In the future, Sara wants to see the community at TLC benefit from her guidance and advice, and have the tools to make a lasting change:

“I want to see a movement towards having a group of people who have experienced the benefit of implementing wellness practices. Having that community grow and create a wave in the market. I want to showcase TLC as a good launching point for their wellness dreams. No matter who you are or where you’re starting from, we can all unite and get started with getting a long-term benefit.”

Her very favorite part of being a fitness and wellness coach is being able to inspire people to take the first step to change their emotional and physical wellness:

“It gives me an opportunity for people to see that change is truly possible for them. People tend to have limited beliefs about themselves and starting to make shifts in their routines is a way to have a more empowered standpoint. It’s just energizing to me to give people back control over their lives and health and finding the root cause. For example, if we’re using food to fill a hole where we’re not satisfied in our lives. The power of health meditation and mindfulness, all of these things that make us feel good, naturally end up healing the root cause and making ourselves happier and healthier. I want to make holistic health and wellness accessible to all. Your health concerns are a gateway to a journey to help you embrace your optimal potential.”

Total Life Changes Reaches out to Local Teachers

Total Life Changes (TLC) always has a new way to reward community members, whether a customer, Life Changer, or someone who’s in need of some help. This February was no exception as Director of Public Relations Craig Cole chose to reward four teachers this February:

“I decided we needed to do something for teacher appreciation, especially during this time. There have been so many setbacks and we’ve all seen it. These teachers must teach our kids from home now. So, I said we have to do something for February, the month of love. We have to step out of our comfort zone and appreciate teachers and give them the platform to be recognized.”

The TLC community was able to vote on their favorite teachers and describe why they deserve to be the one to win the $500 gift card, TLC products, and recognition for their hard work and dedication to educating our future generation. The very first teacher, Voncile Campbell, is a master math teacher in the Detroit area and proved that she was doing even more for her students. She decided to read her students’ bedtime stories virtually every night and dedicate more time to them than just during classes, going far beyond only what’s expected of our teachers. Voncile states that this time has been different from any school year before:

“When school ended, it ended so abruptly, and I wanted to reach out and connect with them, so I asked myself what I can do? And I decided to read bedtime stories to my students because many students don’t get that anymore. I also wanted to help them maintain their routine since they don’t have that while learning at home. So, I post my stories every night at 8 pm.”

Nicole Mitchell, the next teacher who was honored, hails from South Carolina and has been teaching for over 20 years. She’s part of a group called Multiples of Midlands who offer support for mothers dealing with twins, triplets and so on. She describes her purpose as a teacher and expresses what drives her to keep going:

“Teaching is a calling; if you aren’t in it for the kids, then you aren’t in it for long. So just realizing that, I’m raising kids at home and school. I’m the student’s mom, and then I come home, and I’m a mom to my twins as well.”

The third teacher who was celebrated was Mr. Lee, from Gross Pointe, Michigan and teaches CVO Jack Fallon’s son, Reed. He’s been teaching 5th grade for 22 years and says that his favorite part of Teaching is helping his students experience their daily “a-ha!” moments:

“Educators always want to make a difference. When you see those lightbulbs, or when students are grasping those moments, or finding joy in the daily reading, those all add up and make your day complete.”

The last teacher to be acknowledged was Mrs. Stangey, an athletic director at Lutheran High North in Michigan. She works countless hours to bring students the entire high school experience, and athletics is an integral part of that experience. She thanks TLC and says she’s humbled by being chosen to win this reward:

“Thank you to the people who nominated me. In the end, everything that I do here, and all the work and effort that other administrators and I put in, is to make sure that our kids get a quality education and a Christ-centered education. I’m just grateful that we can do this. I’m proud to play a part in this and I’m glad our kids can have these extracurricular activities.”

Mind Body Spirit Event Brings Balance to Life Changers

Total Life Changes (TLC) always brings a unique energy and passion to their tours and 2021 is no exception. This energy comes from the collective minds of the staff and Life Changers. And this mind cannot thrive without balance from the other elements, body and spirit. TLC brought all three elements together for a harmonious experience with their first Mind Body Spirit Event.

Jack Fallon greets his TLC audience and summarizes the aim of this tour:

“What I want you guys to realize is that yes, TLC does a tour every year, and we do events on a monthly basis. But this is something special this year. Our goal around the world, in every language and every gender, is very simple. We want to get into your Mind, Body and Spirit and help you create a balanced life. This starts today!”

Guest speaker and entrepreneur Tiffaney Malott gives her approach to leadership within network marketing. She mentions her humble beginnings as a factory worker and was influenced by someone more successful than her. Inspired, Tiffaney completely changed her career path. Her simple three-step process includes: leading yourself through your mindset and activities (learn), lead your recruits based on what you have done (learn to teach), and lead those people’s recruits next (teach to teach).

Transformation contest winner Chavon Pulley truly was able to change her lifestyle and use TLC’s products as leverage to push her progress even further. She also became a Life Changer, which allowed her to take care of her three children and her disabled father, who needs round the clock care. The core values have been integral to her life even before she knew about TLC:

“I get this kind of inspiration from my amazing dad. He always said give more than you expect to get back. You constantly give more because it’s going to come back to you. I’m getting my blessings because I constantly give to him.”

For this event, TLC’s sponsored charity was Anchor Bay Foster Closet to provide clothing and other needs to foster children transitioning into their permanent homes. TLC matched donations given by event attendees, which totaled over $1500 and gave 300 bags full of supplies for toddlers and teenagers.

Mike McClean returns to TLC for another event and gives his take on essential oils and how we can honor mother nature by using them:

“There is nothing that fires me up more than knowing I’m going to have the privilege to teach people how to reunite mother nature with mankind. When we stop and think, what is the foundation of all modern-day pharmacology? What is the foundation of homeopathic medicine? All of these elements are found in plants.”

The ring ceremony on Sunday was the first of its kind. TLC adapted to the change of the last year and had their first virtual ring ceremony. CCO Scott Bania describes what these rings truly symbolize:

“Whether you have been here for six years or six months, you’ve put in the blood, sweat and tears. You have faced many obstacles, and this is your day. We’re going to honor you and celebrate your recognition. We’ll give you the time you deserve to acknowledge everything you’ve put into your business. And your ring symbolizes your belief in us as a company and your belief in your organization.”

Jack concludes the event by expressing excitement for future events:

“We truly cannot wait to do a live event with you. You’re so much fun; we love your energy. We look forward to that, but please continue to share that TLC energy. We want the world to be a part of it and give balance to as many people as possible. And we can’t wait to be a part of your journey.”

Total Life Changes Exceeds Expectations of Growth into 2021

Total Life Changes ignited the health and wellness market in 2020 and continued to make positive strides into 2021. A year of ups and downs for everyone did not stop the company one bit as they turned these unusual times into a positive for those staying at home and those looking for an opportunity to better their health and fitness.

Director of Logistics & Fulfillment Evan Brengman highlights the changes of the warehouse, showing just how much TLC has grown:

“A lot has changed in the warehouse; we have grown from 75 to about 200 employees. Infrastructurally, we have changed as well; we have completed four total renovations of the warehouse this year. We have added six additional manufacturing lines, and we have grown beyond the four walls at TLC Headquarters. We have grown so much that we acquired two additional facilities in the Metro Detroit area.”

As one of TLC’s Core Values states, “We are Always Hungry for More,” and the warehouse team exemplifies that value. Bringing back processes that worked in the past, as well as bringing outsourced products back in house is a crucial goal for 2021. Evan aims to ensure that the warehouse teams produce over 75,000 orders every day with a zero percent error rate to keep up with the increasing demand for products from Life Changers and customers alike. Implementing a new warehouse inventory and order management system will decrease the error rate and that packages are going out in a timely manner.

Evan expresses his gratitude for his team, saying he would be remiss not to recognize their hard work:

“Kurt Romancheck has really helped with the growth and restructuring with the warehouse. Of course, all the amazing supervisors, team leaders, and associates we have in the staff. It’s surreal to see where we’ve come from and where we are now, and where we are going to go in the future.”

Customer service has also expanded in 2021 as well, splitting into eight separate branches within the department: shipping, quality assurance, training, escalations, a team to handle Amish inquiries, IT, and team leads. A total of 50 employees have been added, including 21 bilingual employees, to help with the international reach of customer service. Customer Service, Assistant Manager Nick Navarro, highlights the goals of the department for the next year:

“We want to build the leadership within the department and build upon each other. We want to make sure we have enough staff to help facilitate more leadership positions to support our growth.

Customer service also gained more room for employees, with a 3,000 square foot mezzanine completed in January of 2021. IT, Marketing, User Experience, and TLC’s Audio Visual Team also share this space, allowing for more growth from the ground up. Employees can also enjoy a private TLC gym to use before or after their shifts because health and wellness are critical to its success and mission.

TLC’s HR department has also been busy onboarding all of these new employees and ensuring they have all of the resources needed to excel at their positions. Director of Human Resources Alexa Soto aspires to improve the processes surrounding onboarding and aims to bring the brand to a more global level:

“We try to set our employees up for success, giving them as much information as they need for their position, so they can continually grow within our TLC family. Our goal for 2021 is to take all of our HR processes globally, bringing them to all of our offices. Every time a Life Changer calls us, they receive the same service that encompasses the same core values. No matter where you call TLC, you’re getting the same look and feel of our culture and the same vision that Jack Fallon (CVO) had when he started this company.”

Ileana Simplicean Joins the TLC Team

Total Life Changes (TLC) is continuously looking to expand its corporate team and global markets. That includes reaching a higher level of legal compliance and finding the right person to offer legal guidance and work interdependently with different departments to minimize risk globally.

Having worked internationally with many years of experience under her belt, Ileana Simplicean sealed the deal with TLC and now serves as their General Counsel. She is responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs globally, and her multilingual background allows her to relate to local markets with ease.

Although Ileana grew up in Michigan, she spent most of her career abroad as an attorney. She was educated in the U.S. and France and has a joint B.A. from the University of Michigan and the University of Nice, France, and a joint J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Paris 1 (Sorbonne), France. She is admitted to the New York Bar and Paris Bar.

She has worked on three continents (Europe, North America, and Asia) and was based primarily in Paris, France. After starting her legal career at Paul Weiss, she held executive positions of increasing responsibility at publicly listed multinationals, as Senior Corporate Counsel at Delphi and then General Counsel at Nexteer. Most recently, she spearheaded an entrepreneurial legal venture in Europe called Ilenomia Legal.

TLC’s 2021 Kickoff Leadership Event Brings Hope to Leaders

Total Life Changes (TLC) has been preparing all year to release its new product line. Months and months of development, formulations, and creative design were put into this product line to make products of exceptional quality and honest origins. Global ranked leaders and above were introduced to this line on January 13 and 14 and were on the edge of their seats with excitement during this 2021 Kickoff Event.

Chief Vision Officer Jack Fallon opens the event by taking a moment of silence and reflecting on how long it has been since he has seen the TLC leaders in person. COO John Licari showcases TLC’s positive momentum, showing the number of samples sent, millions of products ordered, thousands of new ranks, and much more. John then reveals the key ingredients of TLC’s success:

“We have built momentum through a lot of people doing a little instead of a few people doing a lot. That’s what makes us different, and that’s why everyone scratches their head and says, what in the heck do they have going on over there?”

CCO Scott Bania opens the next segment by introducing the Total Life Essentials line, which is a diverse and high-quality line of essential oils designed to awaken the mind, body and spirit:

Day two of the event featured a more in-depth look into each essential oil and its multi-use benefits. Mike created a DIY cleaner, which he dubbed “Mike Mclean’s Special Cleaning Solution,” and incorporated the proprietary Guardian essential oil blend that features cinnamon and clove oils, which are known to have antibacterial properties.

An informal leadership meeting followed up this segment. John delivered a powerful message, saying that 2020 was a year of progress and improvement:

Total Life Changes Delivers More (SOI) Smiles On Investment

2020 was a whirlwind of a year for everyone. But Total Life Changes genuinely put their customers first and charged through the last quarter with a spirit of giving and gratitude.

October brought cold fall weather to TLCHQ, but their momentum stayed hot. Sampling is always encouraged, but extra rewards were earned during the Shocktober Challenge from October 9 through 31st. Five levels of increasing Sample Credits were awarded to Life Changers who sent ten samples and continued to meet the sampling quota required throughout the challenge. The Shocktober Challenge was mutually beneficial to Life Changers because they can use the earned Sample Credits to sample even more. As a result, a record-breaking number of over 650,000 samples were sent during this challenge.

But there’s always something up Jack Fallon’s sleeve. So on October 29, NutraBurst® samples were released by popular demand. Customers and Life Changers alike could now share NutraBurst, a liquid multivitamin and hero product to prospects in a convenient packet, which brought something new to sampling prospects.

November welcomed a gracious mindset, and TLC gave much more than what their community expected. Their Virtual International Event on November 13-15 brought recognition, entertainment, and a sense of community during a time where most were staying safe at home. Thousands of people across the globe tuned in online for this one-of-a-kind experience that was available in their native language. Over 20,000 viewers tuned in for the main events, and the community enjoyed every moment.

TLC continued to bring more support on a local scale with a coat drive on November 21, teaming up with Macomb County charity, “Pay it Forward.” They ended up crushing the goal of 800 by three times, donating over 2400 coats, and truly made a difference in the surrounding community.

Some holiday cheer and good tidings were shared in December. The 12 Days of Christmas tradition made a comeback from December 4-15 and offered daily giveaways for select products.

Reaching out to the local community again, TLC had their First Annual Tree Lighting, where they sponsored Benny Freeman, a seven-year-old boy with special needs. Benny and his mother enjoyed visiting local parks where his ear to ear smile lit up his face when he was swinging. But the local parks did not have handicap accessible swings, which made it difficult for his mother to place Benny in the swing. TLC raised money for Benny with charity ornaments to fund handicap-accessible swings for local parks.

The community then got ready to run during the Jingle Run 5K on December 23, where thousands of community members participated by running or walking a 5K distance from anywhere in the world.

Overall, TLC has gained 193,478 total customers and 47,106 Life Changers in the fourth quarter, and Life Changers have sent 673,333 samples. Jack Fallon reflects on 2020, saying that it was very different from anything he expected:

” Collectively, as human beings, I believe we all worked through these challenges in our way. Many turned to their spirituality. Others turned to friends and family for support. Unfortunately, some had nowhere to turn, and I reminded our TLC community family, our employees worldwide to continue to keep those individuals in our prayers. Total Life Changes Ends 12 Days of Christmas Campaign with Record Sales

Total Life Changes (TLC) always brings their unique brand of fun and excitement to their live broadcasts, and tradition is key. So in keeping with a well-loved TLC holiday tradition, the 12 Days of Christmas was brought back for another year full of cheer.

TLC’s 12 Days of Christmas follows the same format as the traditional Christmas song. From December 4th until December 15th, every deal was announced on the Jack and John live Facebook broadcast by TLC’s Headquarters employees. The broadcast stage was decked out in Christmas décor, and the hosts brought their very best energy and joy to put everyone in the holiday spirit.

The first deal was launched by Event Coordinator Madeline Solomon and Customer Service Assistant Manager Nick Navarro. Every day featured a new set of hosts from the TLC headquarters who announced a groundbreaking product deal and the giveaway winners.

John Licari reveals why this year’s initiative is more enticing than the 12 Days of Christmas sales in the past:

Total Life Changes Brings Hope To Local Restaurants

Total Life Changes (TLC) has been fortunate to have positive momentum, even during this challenging time. Customers and Life Changers alike are always looking to improve their overall wellness. TLC was inspired by its employees to reach out to small local businesses this season.

Director of Public Relations, Craig Cole, was the brain behind this initiative and collaborated with CVO Jack Fallon and COO John Licari to develop a plan. The TLC events team got involved as well and concluded that this was a bigger task than they expected.

Starting December 8th, TLC visited twelve restaurants, including some local favorites such as Anchor Bay Pit Stop, Dimitri’s Opa, Ken’s Country Kitchen, and many more. TLC bought 100 meals per day for their employees and provided $20 off per bill for the general public to use up to $1,000. TLC plans to visit 25 more restaurants to keep the positivity flowing until in-person dining is allowed again in Michigan on January 15th. Craig states that the initiative’s goal was to not only affect the restaurant itself but the local community members as well:

“We were also giving an opportunity to residents who might not be able to get out or have the finances to go out and get a restaurant meal. We wanted them to enjoy a meal on us, worry-free.”

Restaurant owners commented that since in-person dining has been temporarily banned, their business has been suffering. Their profits have decreased by about 50%, which is a significant amount of money that goes towards rent, kitchen and dining supplies, and employee wages. Craig says that despite these challenges, each restaurant owner was selfless and had a common theme:

“Every restaurant owner I spoke with echoed the same message: they were all worried about their employees more than they worried about themselves. Every restaurant said, ‘We’re worried about our employees more than we worry about ourselves; we will be okay.'”

Craig shows his empathy for local restaurants, saying that they truly need our help during this time:

“We didn’t want to pick the big-box restaurants. We knew that hitting these small mom and pop shops and helping them out was far more important than any other chain restaurant that would get support from their corporate team or has a following of greater numbers.”

In the future, TLC aims to give even more back to the local community and knows they do have an impact on the local economy with their employees and corporation in general:

“Our goal is to truly embrace the communities surrounding us. And we know that we are affecting the local community and businesses around us by simply having the number of employees we do have. These employees purchase fuel in the local area, pay rent, buy groceries here. And we feel that we are growing roots in these surrounding communities and just providing economic value.”

Total Life Changes Creates Holiday Cheer and Hope With Tree Lighting

The reason for the holiday season is to give without expecting anything in return. And Total Life Changes (TLC) embodied this with their positivity and energy during their First Annual Tree Lighting. The winter scene unfolds on the TLC headquarters stage with CVO Jack Fallon and COO John Licari speaking about the meaning of this event:

“I can’t wait until we light that tree, which is going to be a symbol of hope for people all around the world. It has been a really rough year for a lot of people. But 2021 is right around the corner, and things are looking bright!”

The giant 45-foot tree glimmered with bright lights and holiday cheer, and DJ Adrenaline emceed some jolly jams to get the crowd in the spirit. Customer service employees Joshua Aguilar, Lily Dickinson, and Tiana Reed sang their hearts out on stage. They impressed the audience with their vocal talents.

TLC made the event heartwarming by sponsoring a local seven-year old boy with special needs named Benny Freeman, whose story was discovered by Director of Public Relations, Craig Cole. Craig was scrolling on Facebook when he came across a story about a mother, Jamie Freeman, who couldn’t find adaptable swings for her son to enjoy in public parks. Her son Benny has autism, down syndrome, and leg braces; it’s been challenging for Jamie to use the typical swings found in parks. Craig recalls this family’s story and how he took action:

“I recalled reading Jamie’s post weeks earlier, and this story continued to cross my mind, and I knew TLC had to do something. So, a few weeks ago, I couldn’t sleep, and again Jamie’s post was on my mind, and it was so deep in my heart that I had to do something, and I had to reach out to them. And after an hour search, I came across Jamie’s post again, and that made me want to put this event together.”

Jamie speaks about why this means so much to her and the challenges she has faced this year:

“This swing is one of the only things that give Benny pleasure because all of his special needs services got taken from him, and his school, everything else. Being able to bring him to the park and see the smile on his face is the only thing that has gotten us through this year. This initiative will make it easier for other families with special needs children and us to enjoy this. It’s a bigger issue than you think.”

TLC created a unique fundraiser just for Benny. Charity ornaments were available to purchase for $20. Those ornaments were displayed on the TLC tree as a token of gratitude. TLC raised over $12,500 toward the purchase of adaptive swings for local parks, which will truly make a difference in Benny’s life and the lives of other families whose children have special needs.

John Licari wraps up the tree lighting by speaking from his heart and expresses how much this event means to him:

“So many people are here tonight that have never been here before. Someone inspired them to be here tonight. What we need in this world right now is inspiration and hope. When Jack counts us down, and that tree turns on, what you’ll see is not just lights. Ryan May Joins Total Life Changes as Global Supply Chain Manager

Total Life Changes (TLC) has always been looking for ways to expand its markets and reach new customers on a global scale. From the United States to Latin America and Europe, each market is carefully catered to and has TLC’s full attention as part of their family and community.

To encourage a more efficient experience for international customers and Life Changers, a Global Supply Chain Manager was needed. And Ryan May was the perfect person to join the TLC team.

“I discovered TLC through Alexa Soto, TLC’s current Director of Human Resources. We worked together at our previous company, so she knew I would be a great fit because of my personality, teamwork, and training. My first interaction with TLC corporate was on Zoom. I got to meet with John Licari and Evan Brengman, and it was great; they are very uplifting and positive.”

Ryan keeps in contact with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that TLC’s supply chain runs efficiently and the warehouse can deliver the TLC products to consumers on time. Communicating with manufacturers and suppliers is vital, and consistent collaboration with these stakeholders truly makes a quality product.

Ryan says he finds the TLC culture to be very positive, which creates a great work environment:

Total Life Changes Crushes Black Friday Sales Goals, Achieves More

Total Life Changes (TLC) spent the last month prepping for the ultimate Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. The corporate staff wanted to do more than they have ever done for a Black Friday sale, and they made it happen, with over 75,000 packages sent from November 27th through November 30th.

They didn’t do this alone, though. TLC enlisted the support of hundreds of warehouse employees, customer service agents, user experience specialists, IT professionals, and of course, marketing team members who brought it all together with social media promos, emails, SMS messages, graphics, and more.

Director of Logistics and Fulfillment, Evan Brengman made sure that his warehouse team communicated clearly and meshed seamlessly to provide the best Black Friday experience for consumers:

“We heavily communicated with our product manufacturers, our packing supply manufacturers, and our third-party logistics company; we needed to have everything in stock and in the right place. So it was fun; I love those high-energy moments high-pressure moments. It was also challenging because it took a lot of work and time, and we had to iron out every single detail along the way.”

Customers flocked to their TLC retail carts and enjoyed many buy one get ones deals for all products, the most popular being NutraBurst® and the Original Iaso® Tea. Total Life Changes gained an astounding 15,990 brand-new customers in 4 days, from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. Evan states that this year’s Black Friday sales were not like past sales:

“As a company, we were able to offer much more lucrative deals, and we were able to provide the essence of giving more than what’s expected. We even launched a new product on Cyber Monday, our Immuni-Tea, which is incredible. We sold 5,500 units of the tea in the first hour after the announcement.”

During all order packing, warehouse safety was critical, and precautions were taken to protect workers. Employees are required to take their temperature before entering the warehouse. Cycle cleans were implemented, machinery was cleaned hourly with disinfectant, and the air was fumigated.

Evan wraps up his Black Friday experience by thanking the staff:

“I’m just so grateful for all these people I’m surrounded by at TLC; they made all of this possible. It’s fun to be the representative and the face of the logistics department, but I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize the team and the people behind me who put in the hard work. Founder and Chief Vision Officer Jack Fallon and Chief Operations Officer John Licari picked their brains to figure out the best product to offer consumers during this whirlwind of a year, and the lightbulb finally glowed brightly. Immuni-Tea, an all-natural herbal defense boosting tea, was their answer to the winter woes we all experience.

TLC rolled up their sleeves and went to work with one of its manufacturers of over nine years to formulate Immuni-Tea. The owner expressed his excitement to work on this product and recalls the creative process of developing this tea:

“I was talking with them, and because of this year and the surrounding circumstances, we were thinking, ‘You know, it would be a great idea to put out a defense boosting product.’ I went to work, met with subject matter experts in our R&D department and created a blend of multiple ayurvedic ancient Indian botanicals. I combined them with some additional vitamin D3, and vitamin C, some fiber, and natural flavors.”

Total Life Changes Wraps Up A Groundbreaking Virtual International Event

Total Life Changes (TLC) is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences during its events, even with challenges brought about with COVID-19. The executive team came together and ensured that this one-of-a-kind Virtual International Event would be a success.

“Our original itinerary was to host the International Believe Tour event in Indianapolis, Indiana. We were expecting over 2,500 Life Changers (independent representatives of TLC) from all over the world to participate in a three-day event of training, recognition, and awards. We knew earlier this Spring that it would not be feasible to host a live event with such a large audience. So we decided to create four virtual events to accommodate English, Spanish, French, and Russian speaking audiences,” says Director of Events, Tricia Crawford.

The video introduction of the English Main Event rolls, announcing, “In 2019, we made you feel it. In 2020, we are going to make you BELIEVE IT,” and the event begins with Chief Vision Officer Jack Fallon igniting the iconic BELIEVE 2020 event torch. COO John Licari enthusiastically jumps on stage and delivers a warm and welcoming message:

“Believe! That is the name of the event, that is the name of the weekend! The name of our tour this entire year, it’s about believing! Hopefully, today, if you don’t believe in TLC yet, something you hear or something you feel will allow you to believe. Because once you start to believe in what we are trying to accomplish, your life will totally change.”

TLC events are unique and full of engaging segments that celebrate the accomplishments of Life Changers, which are TLC’s independent business owners. One of the main events that always sparks inspiration and motivation is the Transformation Contest, which highlights individuals who have used the TLC products, improved their diet, and increased their exercise level to create a total life change.

The contest winners for the English main event was Shakeila and Shandrieka Powell, a sister duo who powered through and improved their health despite the odds stacked against them. Shandrieka is an entirely selfless and caring guardian and sister to Shakeila, who has downs syndrome. The sisters are Jamaica natives who moved to New York and found that their big-city diets were not the best. Shandreika found out about TLC through Facebook, and then encouraged her sister to take the original Iaso® Tea, and Shakeila had great success:

“My sister’s life changed when she gained a lot of weight, and we tried different things, but she couldn’t lose weight. And we were having struggles with her health as well. She couldn’t breathe well or walk for long at all. I started my sister off with the brewed Iaso® Tea, and we were doing so well. Total Life Changes Chief Vision Officer Jack Fallon Releases First Memoir

Jack Fallon, CVO of Total Life Changes, announced today the release of his first book, a memoir titled Believe in More. Mr. Fallon founded the network marketing health and wellness company in the basement of his Chesterfield, Michigan, home in 1999 and has since watched its sales grow to $250 million annually.

The book discusses Fallon’s journey from a less-than-motivated student, through his time as an assembly line worker for the Ford automotive company, to his first forays into sales and marketing. Highlighted is the importance of two women in his life—his grandmother and the woman who would become his wife—as models of discipline, motivation, and faith. Fallon makes clear that the guiding principles he learned in life are the key to being successful in business. The book’s goal is to share those principles with his readers.

Kenneth Blankenship Elevates TLC’s Apparel Department

Total Life Changes (TLC) is always offering new apparel for their Life Changers (independent business owners) to wear and promote their brand. And creating all of this awesome merch is not an easy task. So, TLC geared up their four-person apparel team with a new member, Ken Blankenship, who was introduced in July of 2020:

“Total Life Changes reached out to my company on social media to do some print work. And it actually turned into more of a consulting position and helping out in their apparel department.”

Kenneth says that initially, he was attracted to TLC because of their local appeal. But once he experienced it in person, he saw how positive and energizing the TLC culture is. His favorite part about being TLC’s Apparel & Merchandise Manager is the new products:

“Creating new products and staying innovative is everything. Checking out what new processes we can use to make new apparel and getting the merch from the Marketing Department, and seeing the samples is great. And then getting the product out there to the customers and seeing if they like what we made brings me the motivation to work harder.”

Overall, Kenneth aims to bring TLC to a global level and build the brand:

“I want TLC to have a huge global brand, with active wear and custom products. The go-to company for apparel and merch, and not just in-house. I would like to see us expand and branch out to other small businesses and give them the chance to use our skills and our knowledge to grow.”

Kenneth looks forward to the future of apparel and teases some new merch ideas:

“I want to get some new active wear pieces started. And we have some new products for the holidays. We are tightening up some of our department processes because we want to provide the best quality product. We aren’t rushing anything, and we want to re-evaluate our goals and strive for the best merch. We can’t wait to take it to the next level this upcoming year, and we want everyone to be wearing our TLC brand.”
