Review by Louise Robinson on Gareth Tichopad

I first met Gareth at the Level Up event in Coventry last year. Within minutes he’d picked up on my accent and laughed, telling me he’d grown up in my hometown on one of the rougher estates 😉 That moment stuck with me.

It sums him up. He’s not polished for show or trying to impress anyone. He’s grounded. He’s real. Just a regular person like you and me who decided his circumstances wouldn’t define him. He’s accountable, disciplined and honest about what it takes to turn things around because he’s done it himself. His background didn’t hold him back, it shaped him.

Since then, I’ve watched how he leads. He doesn’t hide behind a title or position. He shows up. He travels the country. He hosts events. He creates genuine space for people to grow. No one in his team is left feeling alone or unsupported.

His CV is impressive, but his life experience carries even more weight. And he shares it. He teaches, mentors and corrects when needed because he wants people to rise.

Some leaders talk. Gareth builds.
