Michael is a class act. Dedicated, steadfast, supportive, listens to the field, and above all integrity is core to every interaction with Michael. I've learned a lot from Michael over the years and continue to appreciate and cherish every moment working with Michael as a friend and mentor. Michael has a gentle but firm approach when mentoring. His means of encouraging and developing leaders is inviting and effective. Many leaders I've had the displeasure of working with in the past, lacked empathy, were unable to relate effectively, and were generally a "turn off" because of abrasive pressure tactics—in other words, they lacked real leadership skills. Michael tends to bring out the desire in people to engage and do their best.
