About Joe and Patricia Licciardi:

Joe Licciardi: I have spent most of my life as an entrepreneur – making money and spending it just as fast. After 27 years of working in the health and Fitness industry (owning health clubs and fitness centers), I felt I was no longer being challenged, and started looking for another vechicle. In 2006, I joined my wife in the Real Estate industry, who had been involved for 10 years and had done very well. But as life would have it, timing would not be on my side and I missed the market.

Here in southern CA, the Real Estate market crashed, and crashed hard in 2006. No matter what I did, nothing was happening. After several months of no income, we were out of our savings and wondering, what were we going to do. Having Faith in God, we knew that He would provide for us, we just didn’t think it would come in the form of a bottle. After saying no for 8 months to the MonaVie opportunity, I decided to at least drink it, and see what happens.

Well, with the significant nutritional experience I received, I knew I was on to something and decided to hit the ground running. And that I did. We achieved that rank of Gold in 14 days, Emerald in 54 days, Blue Diamond in 90 days, and Black Diamond in 6 months. This journey has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. Not because of the ranks we achieved, but because of tens and thousands of lives we have changed.

We have help to create 5 millionaires like us, now that is life changing. oday, our business has not only grown here in the US, but now we have a very strong International business with the much of my focus in Asia. My family and I live the Dream life that many only hope for, with all the income we could ever have dream of, and the time freedom to do whatever we want.

    1. I just don’t get it either. First, Rick Gutman, then Ron Prudhomme, next Joe Licciardi, Blue Diamonds Tony and Sherry McKnight. tt doesn’t make sense especially since really all they have to do is show up for a few conferences a year. They can even go into other businesses. Monavie just keeps getting better as the product line expands and improves.Since the juice gave them so many benefits, they should at least they stay in and drink it. Plus, look at the people that count on them and are inspired by their story. Thank goodness Brig is honoring his commitment of last thing last time. He knows he found a good thing for health and wealth and helping others. Please Ted, do an analysis of the business side that those of us who are not diamonds are missing. For me, though, it all comes down to the juice and nutrition. Shed some light on this.

  1. Maybe he see’s the writing on the wall. I’ve never understood how they can justify leaving but usually there is a plan with another company and they bring a large portion of their group with them. This will be interesting.

  2. Interesting title. Lets wait to see what comes out of that. Perhaps he knows information that points him to opt-out.

For people looking for a for a new home, a company that protects its representatives like never before from terminations and comp plan changes, http://www.succeedwithtimsales.com. Tim Sales is back in the game building an organisation. Company open in China, Japan and Mexico (and other countries) and will en prelaunch in less than a week. Legendary training, unique products and leadership and an innovative comp plan. See what tim has to say by click on the link.

Good luck to Joe in future endeavers.

  3. For those of you wondering, he left MV to go to ACN of all places. Truth is, the writing has been on the wall for a while now in regard to Monavie. You cannot argue the facts. MV?s own numbers in the U.S. are atrocious.
What I don?t understand is WHY on earth he would choose ACN?

    1. He is not going to ACN, he is coming to Momentis, the marketing arm of Just Energy. See the comp plan is unmatched in the industry and ya don’t have to buy product. We have essential services that y’all are already using…electricity, TV, internet and internet on the go to name a few. The reason is he will be boarding a first class plane that is still on the ground. Check us out, and get back to me.

  4. “Well, with the significant nutritional experience I received, I knew I was on to something and decided to hit the ground running.” All evidence shows that it is simply a fruit juice with mediocre nutritional value, but sold at irrationally high prices. The phrase “significant nutritional experience” makes no sense except as deceptive hype.
“This journey has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. Not because of the ranks we achieved, but because of tens and thousands of lives we have changed. ” But what about the fact that nearly 99% of MV distributors lose money, year in year out? That’s inherent to their system, mathematically inevitable and hardly something to feel fulfilled about having participated in.

  5. I am a Blue Diamond in Joes Downline and yes it is true he and Patricia have left MONAVIE for Momentis. As long as there is more than one company in this industry there will be people of all ranks and levels that leave one company for another. When it happens rumors and accusations always follow. What I have learned in my short seven years in this industry is that when some leaves one company for another there are two ways that it happens. One with class and dignity and the other in a manner the continues to blacken the eye of the industry so many of us love. Here is what I know about Joe he will handle his journey with class. Joe we wish you all the best and hope you find all the success you are looking for. For those that for a moment think that Joes Business in Monavie may not be growing I have you know that tonight one of Joes personals just completed his third week of Royal Black Diamond Qualifying. Congrats Mr. Hartog. So instead of questioning the man, we build we support and we wish continued success.

    1. But that’s NOT Joe’s business Byron…….that’s Todd’s business. The real question is why was he “moonlighting” over at Momentis in the first place? He’s been quietly recruiting people, including Monavie people, to go over there for at least a month to my knowledge.

“What I have learned in my short seven years in this industry is that when some leaves one company for another there are two ways that it happens. One with class and dignity and the other in a manner the continues to blacken the eye of the industry so many of us love.” the rest of your quote made me chuckle…………..

  6. Joe,
I wish you the best for you and your family.
I have much learned from you. You are the greatest mentor and sponsor I ever had.
No matter what people say, but I know you don’t do this without any reasons.

    Joe… we are friends forever!

    See you!

    Patrick Windolph

  7. Joe left because of what Momentis offers. Very simply put, people are wanting to save money and not spend it. That’s what we do. The pay is downright ridiculous. You have to be open minded to look at MonaVie. Why close that mind?

  8. Guys there are some real factors in why someone would walk away from an already successful business to start from scratch at a new one.
MonaVie is a great company with great products, I don’t believe a black diamond would leave because he didn’t believe in the products anymore. It would be because he saw a better opportunity and the timing was right… Success leaves clues…and so do successful people. Before you get upset, you may at least look at the opportunity and see how it compares.

  9. In the past twenty years I have seen plan after plan, company after company, and in my experience Momentis has products that make sense and the best compensation plan in this industry!   Black Diamond Joe Licciardi is not the only successful person joining MOMENTIS…My close friends Marty Hale, former Chief Strategist at Trump Network, and the legendary Steve Smith have done the same. In case you're new to the industry, our good friend Steve Smith is one of if not the most recognized Icons ever, possibly making more money than anyone and creating more millionaires than anyone in the industry's history.  As the Co-Founder of Excel Communications they did $1 Billion in revenue 9 years faster than Microsoft along with setting most of the records that still stand over 20 years later.

  10. At least Stephan got one thing right when he said “The pay is downright ridiculous” hahaha……And now we have VIA TV NOW telling us that Momentis is “becoming the fastest growing Network Company” and Allen on board, offering to show us all how to build wealth by helping others. Why can’t Ted simply post an article and have people address the article without some type of MLM sales pitch going? What ya say Michael, should we learn how to build wealth while helping others? I can hardly resist the offers posted on this thread. How can I sign up?

  11. I’m familiar with Momentis as I am a rep. I’m not here to make a sales pitch, it shows because you do not see my website link like the others have supplied. I don’t try to sell this business, it works with or without the people that I show.

  12. Brig was an Investor in the company since he started with MV. You hear the stories that Brig saved the company in the early days. With MV, your residual income depends on the consumption of the product which, like it or not, its not something that people NEED EVERYDAY. When someone quits, your business retracts over and over again until you have $300 plus bill at the end of the month. Another fact is that in January, MV launched MVP which would bring all the systems together including R3G and TEAM but then, right after the launch of MVP, Brig launches his own support system that charges $ 197 PER MONTH. His tools cost as much as the product so is he making money out of the business or his tools?

Dont just be a player, get to know the team you play for inside and out.

    WELCOME JOE

  13. Chris Davis said:
“Stephan, there a very good reason why the man had to leave, (his family). I know Joe and Pat out side of MV , their great people. There come a time in a network company when the product has run it?s course and Monavie has.”

And yet Todd Hartog (Joe’s personal) is in his 4th week of Royal black Diamond qualification and Conrad Padilla (Todd’s personal) is in his 4th week of White Diamond qualification.
So what can we extrapolate from this? It’s simple really. People quit when they stop making money. I think we can pretty much assume that Joe’s pay leg has gone the way of Rick Gutmans’ and that he HAS read the writing on the wall.

What I don’t get is why Momentis? I think a better fit for Joe would have been Visalus even if he thought it would be short term.
what’s really interesting is that Danny Licciardi has decided to stay with MV. Looks like you’re the smart one after all danny.

  14. Momentis is expanding to the UK!
Take part in this ground breaking opportunity to be one of the pioneers in the U.K. market for Momentis. With the record breaking advancements Momentis has made in North America, this is Momentis’ first step to global expansion.

  15. I wish Joe and Patrice well. from a business perspective, I think they have made a mistake. That is not a judgement call on Momentis, that is a statement on the nature of our industry. We tell people that permanent incomes are possible, then we pull the very foundation from under their feet by moving to a new company.

I speak from experience. I have made the same error in my career, more than one time. Today I can say with clarity the following things..

    Permanent income requires permanent commitment.

If my business is not growing, the problem is not the industry.
If my business is not growing the problem is not my company affiliation (Mona Vie).
If my business is not growing , the problem is me.

There are four simple skills which any successful participant must ultimately develop….where ever he or she finds himself or herself in the industry.

    They are..
the skill of creating and maintaining a candidate list…one which grows in front us in terms of quality and quality
the skill of inviting….so that the candidate sees the opportunity being offered, rather than the person offering the opportunity
the skill of presenting the business in a duplicable fashion
the skill of proper follow up and new member orientation

When one has developed these skills…and become willing to confront oneself to identify character flaws which block proper relationship with a wide variety of people and personalities…

THEN…it matters not which company one is associated with so long as it is a legitimate entity.

Timing is a misunderstood principle in our business. Timing is about you…When you have fully developed the skills referenced above, and as you continue to be willing to confront yourself and improve, the company you are with will suddenly be the right one.

For those who do not know me….I know well of what I speak. I have been a happy beneficiary of all that our industry offers for many years.

    Randy Schroeder

    1. I agree with you totally Randy, he’s definitely making a BIG mistake for leaving MV. He’s in that rank should know better. Look at yourself for example, from a Black Diamond from the company to becoming the President of North America, can’t be more prouder that we have you in this great company.

      Best Regards,

      Mei

      1. Just because Joe decided to leave one Network Marketing company to join another is NOT a mistake. I’m not with Monavie or Momentis, but we have got to stop putting down other companies stating it’s a mistake, because we feel our company is better than that other company when someone decides to leave. Maybe he wanted a which to something besides health/wellness, only Joe can answer to whether or not this was a mistake, but at the end of the day it’s HIS decision. After all he didn’t leave NWM to work a 9 to 5 job, now that would be a mistake, Lol =)

I don’t know Joe, but I wish he all the best with his new company.

  16. Warren Buffet said the greatest transfer of wealth in history will come from the deregulation of energy, and 97% of those that sign up in Momentis Get Paid. How many companies can say that ?

  17. Randy,
I agree with almost everything you said???almost. Almost everything you said is true as long as they apply to your model which, in your case, they don?t. Because once a company has reached market saturation in a given market the only thing left for them to do is to expand internationally, as you have done, and/or come out with ?new? products, also which you have done. And, you have reached market saturation domestically, we all know that. If you disagree I have posted your rank advancements weekly as promised right here https://www.facebook.com/#!/ted.nuyten/posts/291392910929539 The facts are indisputable Randy???but I?m sure you already know that.

One of the points I disagree with you on is that Joe has made a mistake. I don?t think he has made a mistake at all in leaving Mona vie. All of you at corporate had to know it was coming. I think the mistake is in the company he chose. Which is an opinion, and time will tell if I?m right or wrong.

The other point is this gem ?THEN?it matters not which company one is associated with so long as it is a legitimate entity.?
It absolutely does matter Randy and you know it, especially when the compensation plan is as bad as yours in comparison to other companies that are finally figuring out how to put more money in the pockets of the rank and file. Your ratio is still a horrendous 30:1 which is two to six TIMES the ratio of other companies. And you don?t know why the attrition is so bad?? It looks to me like Joe may have finally come out of denial as so many others have. But something tells me I?m not telling you anything you don?t already know.

So although I do appreciate the underhanded inferences you?ve made toward Joe here I would have to conclude that?s it?s just another poor attempt at spin on your part once again.

    1. Brent, many of the most important lessons I have leaned in a long career and contained therein. MLM jargon? How great is your success in the business, and for how long a period of time. I feel well qualified to make comments such as the ones expressed above.
      rs

  18. So if that is true Randy then you are insinuating that Joe did not master or develop the following skills correct?

“the skill of creating and maintaining a candidate list?one which grows in front us in terms of quality and quality
the skill of inviting?.so that the candidate sees the opportunity being offered, rather than the person offering the opportunity
the skill of presenting the business in a duplicable fashion
the skill of proper follow up and new member orientation”

What about Dickie, Gutman, Tara Wilson, Blaine Williams, need I continue with the hundreds of former high level earners? Did they also fail to develop or master those skills. I call B.S. on your rhetoric Randy! Why don’t we talk about back door deals, break insertions, moving teams around, controlled spillover and all of the other real scenarios that exist within the industry.

All of you so called “career” guys love to recite the 8 steps to success, but honestly, do they really apply to all of you

    1. Brent what is the reason behind all of this? It’s amazing that you would go back and forth with Randy about something that doesn’t even concern you. He just made valid points of what it takes to build and sustain a successful business. People leave companies for many reason and go to other companies for many reasons. If a company is willing to pay a leader money to join their company how different would it be for a professional baseball getting a big signing bonus to join their team?? It’s all business! Does that mean the team he left is going under or the player is losing money? No I don’t think so.
So unless you have more experience than a person like Randy do all of us a favor and keep your remarks to yourself. I am sure NO ONE is going to take your comments serious.
Joe Licciardi I am sure has a very strong business and for what ever the reason he left, well that’s between him and god. I am sure he will have some success but do I think the success of a Black Diamond, well time will tell.

  19. Joe and Patrice did not make a mistake at all. For someone who is a Black Diamond (whatever that is…I guess it's up there pretty high) to leave the 165,000 people on his team to move over to no autoship, no product to buy and get paid for something you already are using makes perfect sense. We at Momentis are launching the UK then South America, Mexico and Australia with essential services people use daily, you would be a fool not to check it out. God Bless Joe and Patrice and welcome to Momentis, Think Beyond!

  20. Brilliant come back Greg, I think Randy could probably defend his own words without you stepping in to save the day, after all he is the head flippity- flop of North America is he not? Do you really think I care if “NO ONE” is going to take my comments seriously, who said I was trying to be taken seriously? Perhaps since you are so full of wisdom and knowledge you can explain why many of the “top-earners” are leaving Monavie? Is it because of the rhetoric Randy spewed above, or could there perhaps be more to it than that? Come on Greg, please enlighten us all.

  21. Randy,

I am certainly no joe licciardi fan but in his defense I would like to point out that the domestic numbers for rank advancements (remember: if you?re not moving forward you?re going backward) in the U.S. are pretty bad. If a Black Diamond with 165,000 people in his organization can?t hold it together how do you expect new people to make money in this model.

About a year ago a networker with 25 years in the industry told me in regard to Monavie ?if I can?t build it what makes you think that you can?? Face it Randy, your rhetoric pales in the face of the facts. Joe is just the latest chip to fall with many more to come.

3/9/12 approx. 1620 rank advancements with only 125 or 7.7% in the U.S.

3/16/12 approx. 1622 rank advancements with only 108 or 6.6% in the U.S.

3/23/12 approx. 1858 rank advancements with only 90 or 4.8% in the U.S.

3/30/12 approx. 2,413 rank advancements worldwide with only 115 of them taking place in the U.S./Domestic market or4.7%

4/6/30 approx. 1745 rank advancements with only 94 of them happening ion the U.S./domestic market OR 5.3%.

4/13/12 approx. 1435 rank advancements with approx. 88 coming from the U.S. OR 6.1%

*note: the lowest two ranks (star & star 500) account for more than 50% of these rank advancements

  22. Actually it’s 60.3% to be exact Vincent. Another “interesting” fact is that out of all these rank advancements only six golds were created in the U.S.
Which brings me back to you Randy. Since you are the president of north America now and you’ve been asked by dallin to head up the revitalization of Monavie in north America, if monavies domestic numbers continue to tank do we blame you? I mean, you ARE the man right? You’re at the top of the organization right?
You said: “If my business is not growing, the problem is not the industry.
If my business is not growing the problem is not my company affiliation (Mona Vie).
If my business is not growing , the problem is ME”
    We’ll be watching…….

  23. Good lord, you Americans!

When are you going to realize that the problem is NOT the company, the products, etc…. it is the way you are building. As Ed Ludbrook says ‘they have their methodology wrong so it is IMPOSSIBLE to create sustainable momentum. What ever they build must bust.’

Because its all ‘throw the mud against the wall, to ‘find’ leaders [ie someone else who will throw major mud at the wall’] your networks are doomed. Your attrition rates are so high it is mathematically impossible to keep the business growing.

This ‘MLM’ Recruiting focused method is the problem. Build skills for competence!!!

  24. Here’s what I know about monavie. in the last three years the in traffic to their website (monavie.com and to their back office monavievo.com) is down 95% from what it was. that is an incredible fall. INCREDIBLE. their Korean, Hong Kong, Taiwan, have crumbled to name a few. Joe had a strong presence in Taiwan. Had. The site to measure the traffic for any company is Compete.com. you just need to plug in those two urls and see the graphs. this is a good way to not be so dependent on the hype each company creates about their progress. the second thing is that monavie is changing their comp plan from a non-flushing binary to a flushing binary. to avoid a class action suit they are currently offer compensation to top ranks. given these situations and the fact that company joe is going to has more traffic then monavie (in the US) it makes perfect sense. Only doubt i would have would be if the new company is a “bottle Rocket” as Randy Schreoder would say. At this point Monavie is looking like the bottle rocket per their Graph of deminishing traffic regardless of their new products.

    1. Karl,
Apparently that is because the people still active in Monavie did not learn the the following skills that have been previously mastered by Randy Schroeder.

?the skill of creating and maintaining a candidate list?one which grows in front us in terms of quality and quality
the skill of inviting?.so that the candidate sees the opportunity being offered, rather than the person offering the opportunity
the skill of presenting the business in a duplicable fashion
the skill of proper follow up and new member orientation?

That has got to be it doesn’t it?

    2. Karl,
Thanks for the info on the website traffic, I find your comments interesting, and correct. One other thing I would like to ask you about if I may? You wrote ” their Korean, Hong Kong, Taiwan, have crumbled to name a few. Joe had a strong presence in Taiwan. Had. “, would you be willing to possibly expound on this statement a bit more?

What exactly happened in Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and what do you mean Joe “had” a business there? Thanks

  25. All I can say is good luck catching us. We just set another record “The Largest Simultaneous Flash Mob across the United States and Canada. We are getting used to being first at things. The big one is coming up. Don’t worry everyone will hear about it.

  26. Regarding the Asian markets mentioned above. I don’t think there is a definitive answer as to why those markets crumbled. The source for comment/observation is Mark Ewell. in Hong Kong Joe had been creating a team there via bringing Monavie in to HK two years a head of when it opened. when they had the “Honk Kong Opening ceremony” many distributors, as well as Dallin and Mark were surprised to learn this. This gave the legitimate Monavie distributors a big disadvantage and disincentive so that market was problematic from the begining specifically due to Joe bringing product into the country contrary to what was allowed. Taiwan, and Korea are completely different stories. Not exactly implosion but due to Monavie not understanding the cultural attitudes in part to complying with the Monavie rules. Joe had the largest team in Taiwan, in fact Randy Schroeder was the “international ambassador” at the time and was both Key and instrumental to Joe’s initial success there.

  27. Karl: Those are some very interesting insights, thank you.

Since you appear to be close to Mark Ewell are you able to confirm whether or not Joe was called into corporate by Henry Marsh to be reprimanded for crossline recruiting Marks people to take them to Momentis?

  28. I heard he received a 6 figure one time jump fee
Also a monthly guarantee! I’ve been in the industry 37 years
And this never works out! He will regret this move!
I know because I did the same thing to my family!
I have ne’er recovered and been with 14 companies!
My first downline is still growing bigger then all 13 combined!
I heard Joe had Some top mentor ships he left when he blew his head
    Off!

  29. There needs to be one thing addressed here more then any other. Joe built Monavie with people who said yes. I would imagine he had thousands of folks earning money. Its called a selfish act. He left the people who trusted him to die. Ive followed this for 4 years now. Joe had one of the mod incredible downlines in the Industry. Calvin Becerra Black Diamond, Tod Harrtog new Royal, Kely Bangerts Royal, Rob Alwinn Black Diamond, Conrad Padil Hawaiian. Whats impressive is none of them ever had any prior MLM experience. That explains why Liccardi would do a what we call in the Industry a ” foolish mistake” He will now face the almighty had of Monavies legal team. My one advice to him is don’t recruit your old Monavie team. I wish you would have called me first. I did the same thing and got my ass sued for back commissions. Lets just say its no fun driving a pinto and living in a single wide trailer.

    1. Paul, you sound like a wise man. We changed companies a few years ago and did not call all of our downline from the first company. Some found out what we are doing now and haved joined us but none are out top biz builders. After 13 years in the industry I have seen many jump from company to company and just shake my head is nonunderstanding.(is that a word?) I recommend staying, commiting to the Right company and building. With the right upline, product, comp plan and timing …..it can be a very good situation over time.
Yes I would like to recruit other leaders to our over 13,000 member team, but I’d rather they not even come to my company if they are only going to jump on the next bandwagon that comes along.

And now we earn more than we ever have and have more people earning $ than ever before.

  30. I Left Monavie myself, not because of the Company or the product but because the product price Killed my business I LOVE THE MONAVIE PRODUCT but had to cut my ties and lick my wounds… BUT I plan to get back on the Product soon!!! I am with a company now that I feel is MERGE FRIENDLY….. I mean …. Stay where you are but join this company, it has proven to be very rewarding to me, I am a Man that everyone runs from when it come to MLM…..Now people are coming to me! my small 20 dollars has taken me to 5’000 in 5 months! and I have not even started working yet !! Gimmie some Juice! Go Monavie!!!

  31. Can’t speak to the crossline recruiting. True new HIGH rank advancements like blue, Hawaiian blue, black, are very unlikely. even by the last income disclosure statement they have decreased substantially. and they don’t release one every year……. for obvious reasons. such new rank advancements will either be due to reassembling the abandoned fragments of various “legs” of the people who have left. know of one such case, that took place or that new pin level was merely given to create the impression that someone was doing well in Monavie. the last possibility is that it is the burst of some new country that just opened. India was supposed to be HUGE. hasn’t happened. Vietnam and Indonesia were supposedly in the offing. who knows.

  32. Andy McWilliams will have the last laugh here, he is making all the money. You can go directly to any satellite tv company, electric company, phone company, and they will pay you a referral fee and a monthly residual without joining anything……Silly rabbits tricks are for kids.. Thats all folks ….Joe will be back selling houses soon……….

  33. Try 3mins per day …if you can copy and paste you are all set! ….. We are on the Verge of a revolution for sure!!! one of my Mentor has not been in a full year and is pulled already 50k in cash!!! remember 3 mins per Day. Sorry to hear about Joe a Monavie heavy hitter I know that he has heard too much, of people having to back away from the Juice to pay bills….

  34. Here is what I know. I didn't do anything special accept help people. I was told get out of your own way and genuinely help people. Im on a inside leg of a inside leg. My wife and I made a pact. If we put our reputation on the line and use our credibility we do this once regardless of the outcome.

She actually made me sign a agreement, thats what I get for marrying a Lawyer. I have counseled with the biggest names in the Industry. Brig Hart, Steve Merit, Randy Haugen, Ken Porter, Scott Olson and my mentor Randy Schroeder. These guys have made millions in Monavie. I have had every broke d*%$* distributor from hundreds of companies try to recruit me. I have never answered a email or even looked at the offer to leave Monavie. I have made over $5 million dollars in 4.10 years and I am getting a $100,000 cash paid all at once bonus.

My family will always be grateful to Joe and Patrice for putting us on there list. Thank you Joe and Patrice. Im 45 years old and Im going to be a Crown Black Diamond 5 years from Now. I will be Presidential by the end of 2012. Conrad will be a Black Diamond Calvin will be a Royal Byron and Kenny going Black diamond too.

The european team is going to break 3 Black Diamonds this year Alex, Tom, and Danien…..UK will have its first Diamond greg davies. Be ready Businessforhome.org fans Ted is doing my story now, and will be posting next week. I hope to inspire and encourage all.
