DXN Recalling Products in Canada
Daehsan Canada Inc, the Canadian affiliate of Malaysian Direct Selling giant DXN Global is recalling it’s DXN brand of instant coffee products from the marketplace because they contain milk which is not declared on the label.
This recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) inspection activities. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.
Daehsan Canada has issued an announcement to the public to inform people with an allergy to milk to not consume the products. It has also asked distributors to not sell or use the recalled products.
The following products have been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and may have been sold in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
- DXN Cordyceps
- DXN Vita Cafe
- DXN Lingzhi Coffee
- DXN EuCafe
The CFIA is verifying that the recalled products are being removed from the market place. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products so far.
