Modere Gives Back

Robert Conlee, CEO, Modere

Modere’s Social Retail Conference wasn’t just about discussing new products and enjoying the presentations–it was also about giving back to the community.

A few weeks before the conference, those who would be attending were asked to give back to the community by bringing items like blankets, coats, shoes, and various winter items. Bins were placed throughout the Salt Palace to collect any donations.

In addition to these donations, Modere Social Marketers were rounded up for a charity event where they packed kits of their very own everyday essentials and hygiene products for The Road Home, a homeless service in Utah.

“One of our core values is compassion. We are more than just a business and we want our Social Marketers to understand there’s so much to be grateful for,”

Justin Serra said.

“There are so many people who miss out on the basic amenities of life. Our product kits provided a few of those items. To many of us, these are everyday things. To others, they are luxuries.”

Both Social Marketers and Modere staff assembled and filled 300 bags.

The bags included Modere products like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, and mouthwash—just a few clean essentials every person deserves to have. Monetary donations were also made by several members of the event.
