Stream Announces Two New Additions To Its Protective Services Line
Stream (Stream Energy), the premier nationwide provider of essential home services, today announced two additional service options to its line of Protective Services: Virtual MD and Roadside Assistance.
The five Stream Protective Services in total now cover a wider range of important areas in Stream’s customers’ day-to-day lives, including health, travel, technology, and identity.
“We are excited to add these new options to Stream’s Protective Services and make them available to our Associates and customers,” said Dan O’Malley, Executive Vice President and Chief Products and Services Officer, Stream.
“This product line truly impacts people’s daily lives in areas most don’t always think about, like needing a quick prescription from the doctor or help with changing a flat tire.”
Virtual MD allows customers to access a network of doctors for non-emergencies via phone or online video anytime, anywhere. With Virtual MD, customers have unlimited, 24/7 access to a U.S. Board Certified physician (MD) for their family’s medical needs, right from their home via phone or online video (Virtual MD is not available in Canada or the states of Arkansas and Louisiana).
With Roadside Assistance, customers can drive with peace of mind knowing help is available anytime of the day or night for towing, flat tires, fuel, and more. With one call to Stream’s Roadside Assistance, customers have someone on the way to help them get to where they are going.

Stream initially announced the launch of Stream Protective Services internally to its team of Independent Associates at the company’s annual Ignition 2016 convention at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
