Top Earner Staffan Liback: Take Your ReSPONSORbility!

Staffan Liback

Staffan Liback is one of the top earners in the Direct Selling Industry, this what he had to say about reSPONSORbility to his team and is also valid industry wide:

Many of you know I have been in the Network Marketing industry for over 15 years.

Some of you know I have been a successful business owner, have had many great heights and some very deep lows. Only few of you know that by having been there I am now stronger than ever. I don’t mind the whole world knowing I have had successes and failures.

My credo: Work in silence, let success make the noise.

Books are written about it, TV shows have been filled, all successful people keep saying it and history keeps proving it: Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

Richard Branson, Steve Jobs, Jack Ma, Mark Zuckerberg: They all succeeded because of their hard work, persistence, brilliant minds but most of all: Their ability to create a winning team. In my career I have excelled at this very same thing, bringing the right people together at the right moment.

The most important thing I have learned is that we as top leaders in Network Marketing are a leading force of a huge group of people. People that are growing individually, to the person they want to become. It is our job to take our responsorbility, yes you have read it right: Re-sponsor-bility. The responsibility as a sponsor/mentor to help our team members and friends to succeed in business.

Everybody and anybody has a opinion on Network Marketing, mostly positive but also many times negative. Most people with a negative opinions has this because of their lack of understanding of our industry.

For me, Network Marketing is the most honest, fair and straight forward business model that exists. For me, ‘normal’ business makes much less sense! What is fair about the fact you’re working 5 days a week, for your boss, who’s driving his big Mercedes Benz to work to come and tell you you’re not working hard enough?

What’s fair about the fact that if you decide to work even harder, your paycheck at the end of the month is most probably exactly the same amount as last month, and the month before that, and the month before, and so on. Is it fair that a company is making millions and you as an employee don’t reap any rewards from it, besides your monthly salary?

By now I think most of you share my opinion… the answer is NO.

There is a simple reason. Working 9 to 5 in a normal job is working on the dream of other people, NOT your own. I am not saying this is wrong but my personal opinion is that there is another way to put “bread on the table” for you and your loved ones. I am not saying that you should quit your job right now but I am certain that if you have not done it yet you should certainly get yourself a PLAN B.

Network Marketing is fair. You work, you win. You do nothing, you lose. It’s so simple that it’s scary for most people. Network Marketing is based on team building.. It’s based on the sheer fact that you as a sponsor take the responsibility to bring people to the next level.

This is the ONLY way your organization/team is able to grow. Empower people to do what you do and you all reap rewards from it. It’s taking your re-sponsor-bility, it is being in the leading position for people that need you. Although this sounds simple, many people don’t get it. What if I told you that this is the ultimate key to success? Just like it is for people like Zuckerberg, Jobs and Branson, it is for everyone, in every kind of business. And not only business.. Have you ever seen a football team win with only one player playing? Have you ever seen one person build up a multi billion company by himself? – Teamwork is the key to success.

You as a sponsor being the personal mentor for your team members have great responsibility in empowering your team members to reach greater heights. It was in my low points where I remembered what my mentor/sponsor was teaching me, those lessons was keeping me on the right track, supporting me in my lowest and darkest moments and finally got me back on the right track.

It’s at these moments where you as a sponsor HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY to be there for your team and TAKE YOUR reSPONSORbility. This doesn’t necessary mean you have to financially support someone. At one point in my career I was living on a mere 3 euro’s per day (90 euro’s a month) It was at this time that what I learned in my first years of network marketing was keeping me from giving up.

I believed in the formula to success. I kept on fighting. I went on, picked myself up and fought myself back to the top. My mentors and what I learned from network marketing and personal growth supported me mentally, not financially.. And now I ONCE AGAIN can see that the formula I was learning and grasping truly works. The tree does not get stronger in good times but in bad times. I had to bite the dust to learn. I had to taste the bitter to enjoy the sweet.

Although I am pretty well off financially together with my brothers we’re working day in day out to improve our team’s capabilities, experience and strengths. Don’t get me wrong. We will not rest until all our reSPONSORbility is taken care of.

We’re flying around the world, empowering people with our experience, to become better people than we are. To become stronger, better and in this case: richer! – I speak for the four of us when I say that words can’t describe how proud we are of what we as a team are doing at the moment. We can all be proud of what we are doing! And don’t forget, people in the industry see you! They see your success.. And although they might not say it, you’re becoming legends even if you might not realise it at this moment in time.

Never forget the power of the team and never forget the fact that you as a sponsor need to take your re-sponsor-bility at all times. Only this way you’ll become successful in business and in life.

Truly Yours,

Staffan Liback
