Mannatech Receives Two New Patents in U.S. and Canada

Mannatech received two new patents in the U.S. and Canada for GI-ProBalance® and Ambrotose®.

This brings the total number of patents that Mannatech has obtained worldwide to 138, with 90 of them currently valid.

GI-ProBalance Receives a New Patent in the US

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted Mannatech a patent for the product GI-ProBalance.

The patent is officially titled “Processing of Natural Polysaccharides by Selected Non-Pathogenic Microorganisms and Methods of Making and Using the Same” -and is valid till June 10, 2028. The granting of this patent allows Mannatech to protect the technology related to GI-Pro-Balance against infringement in the United States.

GI-ProBalance is a yogurt-flavored powder packaged in portable slimsticks. It is designed to support the body’s natural immune function, support proper digestion and gastrointestinal (GI) tract function, and improve nutrient absorption.*

The probiotic and prebiotic supplement was specifically formulated to work synergistically with Mannatech’s flagship Ambrotose products. To date, Mannatech holds 10 patents for the technology related to GI-ProBalance.

Ambrotose Received a New Patent in Canada

Canada National Phase Patent has granted Mannatech a patent for the Ambrotose product. The patent is officially titled “Acute Cognitive and Mood Effects of Plant Polysaccharides in Adult Human Subjects” and is valid till April 24, 2032.
