Industry Icon Valerie Bates Comes Out Of Retirement To Join Velovita

Valerie Bates, a self-described “life-long learner who thrives on challenge, community and adventure,” has a keen eye for Talent and leadership.

Prior to network marketing she started her career as a 2nd Grade Teacher, then became a Talent Recruiter for Businesses, followed by a few years as a Cooperative Education Manager.

Ultimately, she owned a Management Consulting Practice where for ten years she consulted for Corporations in Canada, US and London, specializing in Strategic and Business Planning, Conflict Resolution and Leadership programs for transition and change. Bates passion for personal and leadership development, drew her to Network Marketing.

She is a best-selling author of five books on Personal Development and Network Marketing and for 20 years, along-side her late husband, industry legend and Academy of Multi-Level Marketing Hall of Fame Inductee Mark Yarnell, were Master Distributors for nearly a decade of one company and a top leader and earner in a second where they garnered numbers awards and accolades for their team building and leadership prowess.

After taking several years off after the passing of her husband, Bates says:
