QNET, one of the fastest growing e-commerce based Direct Selling companies in Asia, clinched the Gold Globee International Award® for the category of Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – COVID-19-Related Information at the 7th Annual 2020 Customer Sales and Service World Awards®.
The Globee International Awards® is a global premier business awards program by SVUS Awards®, organisers of the world’s premier business and innovation awards programs. The awards honour achievements in every industry around the world, celebrating the achievements of individuals and teams who set industry benchmarks for excellence.
QNET initiated a campaign dubbed, ‘QNET Comes Together for Tomorrow’, in response to the growing concerns of the Covid19 pandemic. The campaign entailed a combination of videos, social media messaging, and blog posts to give the company’s distributors and customers messages of hope and reassurance, and help them with useful information to conduct their business safely while the pandemic had shut down many countries.
Commenting on the Gold Globee International Award® win, Chief Executive Officer of QNET, Ms Malou T Caluza said,
“The lockdown and quarantine measures around the world impacted almost all our customers and distributors’ ability to conduct their business and earn an income. We recognised the critical nature of our role in communicating and reaching out to them during this difficult phase. We strived to keep them motivated and positive, while also providing them with solutions that would help them adapt their business to the online environment.
“Social media played a pivotal role during the global lockdown; when online traffic began to peak, we quickly put together a creative campaign to engage our community online, giving our audience a grounded approach to business continuity and solutions in their new restrictive environment. Our aim was to allow our distributors to continue to feel our presence and support during this challenging period.”
Over a five-month period, the QNET team communicated more than 150 pieces of content in six languages through more than 30 different social media channels to its diverse global customer base. The company conveyed business updates and changes to operations in the face of the pandemic, messages of encouragement and hope, relevant information on conducting business online, focus on product knowledge and education, tips on strengthening immunity and staying healthy and safe, and updates on how the company is helping local communities impacted by Covid-19.
Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated in the 7th Annual 2020 Globee Awards® and their average scores determined the 2020 award winners. Among this year’s big winners include prominent entities such as IBM, Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, PayPal, and Tata Consultancy Services. As the ongoing COVID-19 crisis will prevent winners from receiving their awards on stage, winners will be celebrated and presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in December.
