Ricky Durant Achieves Triple Crown Ambassador Rank At The Happy Co.

When Ricky Durant began this venture back in December 2017, he already wore many different hats. The Texas-based husband and father worked three different jobs to support his family.

“I was a chemical plant operator working 12-hour shifts for a minimum of 60 to 84 hours a week, including night shifts,” he says.

 

“I also worked as a personal trainer, and I was diligently trying to build a business with another network marketing company for the first time.”

But there was something missing from his life back then — during the time that he was working three different jobs — the freedom to be able to spend quality time with his family. This father of two daughters was able to retire from the chemical plant at age 38 to become a stay-at-home dad and a full-time Brand Partner. He says it affords him opportunities to empower others, elevates his own happiness and allows him to be present with his family.

“I love not having to report to a 9-to-5 job every day and having the energy and time to play basketball in the driveway with my girls,” he says.

A recent move into a new home will make downtime easier than ever. There’s a pool for swimming, a lake for fishing, and a full volleyball court so their daughters can play until their hearts’ content and Mom and Dad can watch from home.

As a Triple Crown Ambassador, Ricky advises new business owners to maintain their own integrity and stay the course.

“Do not compromise on your vision, purpose or values just because they are not the same as someone else’s, he says.

“Always remember that this is a marathon not a sprint and build structures that can last for the long haul.”
