Grainne Fletcher Of LifeVantage Nominated For Distributor Of The Year

Grainne Fletcher was in the car when her General Managers called her to give her the news that she had been chosen as a finalist for Australia’s Direct Selling Awards “Champion” category for Distributor of the Year. “I was blown away,” she says of the honor. However, those closest to Grainne are less surprised by her success:

“Day in and day out, she always goes the extra mile,” her husband and best friend wrote in their nomination letter. “She is the superglue that holds our team together.” 

Grainne Fletcher has been a part of the business world for years, but her experiences running a team with LifeVantage have showcased her skills in new ways, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. After two years with another network marketing company, she was searching for something different when she came across LifeVantage. “I was looking for a product to help my husband,” she recalls, “and then my business brain kicked in.” Drawn in by the affordability, scientific research, and business model of LifeVantage, she wanted to launch it in her home country of Australia—and she did just that. 

Now five years into her career with LifeVantage, Grainne credits her success to her love for her team and her belief in the product.

“I’m a heart-centered leader,” she says. “I’m very hands-on and have a heart for people. I love the walkers, crawlers, runners––I’m not going to leave anyone behind. I want to see people succeed.” 

Every aspect of Grainne’s life is flooded with care for others, from her dedication to her team to her personal life. She is a regular church-goer and sponsors six children in an orphanage, one of whom requires regular blood transfusions, in addition to paying a monthly donation to the orphanage. She also works with a friend’s charity, Water for Africa, and makes it a point to donate to local GoFundMe drives. Grainne’s passion for helping people drives her to lend her support, love, and encouragement to whomever she encounters, and her team at LifeVantage is no exception.

“I never want to treat someone like a dollar sign,” she acknowledges. “I believe in loving the unlovable, leading with passion, lifting others up, and having a laugh along the way.” 

The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic tested Grainne’s ability to be a great leader. Her husband was unable to see patients at his clinic, and many customers suffered from economic loss. However, she discovered network marketing was the perfect occupation for her to overcome these challenges. “We were already a global team,” she says, “so we were used to meeting online and accommodating each other’s time zones.” The flexibility that had already allowed Grainne the ability to work while her children were home from school or ill allowed her to keep working through the pandemic—and her business stayed level throughout the last year. “This business has stayed the test of COVID,” she says. 

Grainne’s other top work challenge––overcoming the common prejudice against network marketing––is assuaged by her passion for LifeVantage’s products.

“Some companies give it a bad rap,” she says, “but this product is incredible and speaks for itself. Educating potential customers about how it works is very powerful.” She adds that she focuses on four pillars of belief to guide her work: belief in the company, the industry, the product, and herself. “When I think about leadership, I think, ‘Why not me?’” Grainne says. “We’re all ordinary people, and I approach challenges with excitement rather than fear.” 

Grainne will be honored at an awards ceremony in Sydney, Australia on June 7, where she is a finalist for the “Champion” category of Australia’s DSA Industry Awards.
