Jeffrey And Janella Simpson – Total Life Changes Achieve Global Director

 

This happily married couple has an impressive comeback story. After spending over 15 years as insurance agents they found themselves in financial crisis, having to file for bankruptcy in 2009.

It took three years for Jeffrey and his wife Janella to get back on their feet financially.

In 2013, they were able to purchase a home and return to a life with some normalcy. Jeffrey explains his emotional spirit during this time, “We were able to reclaim the American Dream by being able to purchase a home again in 2013.  Everything seemed okay, but we knew something was still missing.  We found ourselves working from check to check, due to the fact that we spent our life savings moving into our new home.

We always knew we needed a residual income vehicle because we still found ourselves trading time for money.  At that time, we began searching, I even considered working another job for more income. We considered network marketing again, but we knew deep down inside we were burnt out and didn’t believe in the industry anymore.

I was tired of friends and family dodging our phone calls, trying to pitch them another deal. But I started looking around and getting curious about the industry after being absent from network marketing for over seven years. But our current TLC sponsor Stormy Wellington, sent a private message about launching something very special.”

Jeffery Simpson has known Stormy Wellington since the young age of fourteen, attending the same middle school and has had the great fortune of following her success very closely. He knew she felt the same frustrations about the industry, so this private post peeked Jeffrey’s curiosity.

He wrote her an email with his current contact information and explained to Stormy that he and his wife would like to be a part of this meeting. Jeffrey recalls the exact moment he told the news to his wife, “It was 2 am on November 9^th, 2014. I said, ‘Honey, I think I’m going to give the industry one more shot.’ She rolled over and said, ‘Go to sleep!’

As it turns out, Jeffrey and Janella did in fact meet with Stormy Wellington and a handful of others at a small restaurant near their home in Florida. During the meeting, Stormy was sampling Total Life Changes’ hero product, Iaso® Tea.

Stormy was convinced that TLC’s detoxification tea was going to be the next big thing in direct sales. “About thirty minutes after sampling the tea, Jeff said, baby I have to excuse myself. I feel like I’m about to be cleansed,” recalls Janella. They began consuming the tea twice daily and after three weeks they had each lost about fifteen pounds.

“That’s when the dream came alive. We both knew we had something naturally amazing. We were so excited to share this product and our results, we didn’t care who said no,” adds Janella. 

It didn’t take long for Jeffrey and Janella to begin hosting TLC product home parties alongside their sponsor, Stormy Wellington. They were so busy, their children often had to settle for microwave meals to accommodate the number of successful meetings they were hosting.

“We were in living rooms every single night, coming home after midnight sharing this amazing company called TLC. Many friends avoided us and stopped answering our calls, but we kept going,” says Jeffrey. After three months of hard work, Jeffrey and Janella found themselves averaging about $10k a month. It was then this dream of succeeding big in MLM was becoming a reality.

“We were amazed; we started sharing before and after pics on social media and the responses really became viral. We started growing a huge organization really quickly. Then we started to pay off debt that we couldn’t pay off in years! Like our $20k debt to the IRS!” explains Jeffery Simpson. Fast forward to today and that $10k a month turned into $10k a week.

In February, 2016 they celebrated their largest grossing income, earning over $70k. TLC has been a tremendous blessing for them, especially since Janella was released from her job in December 2015. Jeffrey also resigned from his employer two weeks after and they celebrated the fact that they were now able to work together full-time as IBOs with Total Life Changes.

They took a leap of faith, like so many other couples in this industry and their income has since doubled. “It’s been very emotional for us because now we’ve expanded our business in large volumes internationally, in countries like Martinique, Africa, Jamaica and France; and the success seems surreal,” adds Janella.

The most impressive accomplishment for Jeffery and Janella is the fact that they didn’t launch their business with previous team members. They took a break from MLM for seven years and they had not been in contact with their previous business partners.

“Nobody from our past endeavors joined us. We even reached out to individuals who we told about the TLC opportunity, but they decided to join other teams instead.
