Robert And Dana Newsom Reach National Director Rank With Total Life Changes

 

Dana Newsom’s network marketing experience began in 1999 where she was attracted to the lifestyle of an entrepreneur. She gained a vast amount of knowledge in relating to customers, the approach to direct selling; building and training a team, making great income and consistently driving a free vehicle.

To many it seemed that she was a successful independent business owner. But within her own spirit she had aspirations to do more, to help others succeed and to contribute even more to her family.

She continued to seek greater opportunities, trying three more network marketing organizations and was noted as reaching incredible ranks while breaking company records and owning luxurious cars. But, she continued to feel a burning desire to accomplish more.

“God kept pushing me to fill this void to accomplish more. In 2007, I met Robert Newsom, the man of my dreams. We were married in September of 2008, and I just knew that all of my dreams had been fulfilled. No more single mom duties; I now had a strong shoulder to lean on.  I called him my “ROCK.” Four months later, his job of thirty years closed permanently. We had four daughters and a grandson and nothing to leave as a legacy.

For some time, we went through a seven-year drought of life’s challenges; losing everything; two home evictions, two car repossessions, and as a last resort we had to face the reality of homelessness. The most difficult of decisions was both sentimental and emotional. We had to pawn my prize possession, my wedding ring. But God kept pushing me; I felt he was telling me that there’s something else out there for me…keep going,” explains Dana Newsom.

During their darkest days while facing eviction, a friend contacted her via text message in need of a maid and nanny services in exchange for free living quarters. They agreed to accept the exchange, but never unpacked their bags, still believing God would lead them to a solution.

Robert began to seek employment during this transition as he recognized his wife’s growing disdain for cleaning up behind others. He got a job cleaning at a car dealership at night. They worked day and night to make ends meet.

“I was praying to God for answers, questioning if he had forgotten about me. And then I finally received a phone call from TLC’s Executive Ambassador Lenika Scott. It was the second time she had reached out to me. She explained that I should really take a second look at this TLC comp plan.” 

This was the the turning point for Dana and Robert Newsom. It was the key to unlock their hardship and lead them toward a greater means to provide for their family. Their journey with TLC began on December 1, 2014.  In four days, they reached the rank of Director, and in two months, they hit the rank of Executive Director.

They were able to purchase a new home and furnished it completely debt free; within four months they grew their organization and reached the ranks of Regional Directors. Immediately following these achievements, TLC recognized Dana and Robert with a Rising Star Award at a Houston Conference and then The Transformation Award at a New Orleans conference in February 2016; all within a year of saying yes to TLC.

“We have had to face so many obstacles in the past several years, and to achieve so much in such a short period of time was simply a blessing. We kept God in our hearts and never looked back. We were serious about following God’s direction and the call to help His people. So let me tell you, The Transformation Station has since been born in Memphis, TN. We provide training and weekly meetings four times a week for IBO’s and people who desire to live a healthier and fruitful life by taking the initiative and using the tools in place to build fast and big. In the words of my mentors, Greg and Lenika Scott, “Stay consistent and follow the plan,” says Newsom.
