Total Life Changes (TLC) has always been looking for ways to expand its markets and reach new customers on a global scale. From the United States to Latin America and Europe, each market is carefully catered to and has TLC’s full attention as part of their family and community.
To encourage a more efficient experience for international customers and Life Changers, a Global Supply Chain Manager was needed. And Ryan May was the perfect person to join the TLC team.
“I discovered TLC through Alexa Soto, TLC’s current Director of Human Resources. We worked together at our previous company, so she knew I would be a great fit because of my personality, teamwork, and training. My first interaction with TLC corporate was on Zoom. I got to meet with John Licari and Evan Brengman, and it was great; they are very uplifting and positive.”
Ryan keeps in contact with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that TLC’s supply chain runs efficiently and the warehouse can deliver the TLC products to consumers on time. Communicating with manufacturers and suppliers is vital, and consistent collaboration with these stakeholders truly makes a quality product.
Ryan says he finds the TLC culture to be very positive, which creates a great work environment:
“Everyone here at TLC is very happy, outgoing, complementary and very willing to help out with new employees, like me. I’ve been very fortunate to meet with employees one on one and ask general questions to get familiar with my role and the company. Having the time available for the whole team and me is very nice and makes me feel welcomed.”
Ryan’s goal with TLC is simple; he wants to see his department grow and improve, allowing TLC as a company to grow and reach more customers and markets:
“I want to build out the supply chain department. I want to bring on new talent, but also assess our employees in other departments. I know that we have a lot of hidden gems in different departments. It’s going to be a fun experience finding this talent and broaden the horizons of the supply chain field.”
Ryan summarizes TLC, saying it’s a one of a kind experience:
