Choosing a home based business, is like a marriage: Some people find true love with their first partner. Others need a few to 'practise' before taking a leap forward
I fall into the second category. You see, no matter how good a company, leadership, growth and/or payplan is, I'm above all a product user; I have to feel the 'love', to share the excitement. Basically going back to essence of word-of-mouth advertising.

There are indeed a few good MLM companies out there (and one always thinks ours is the best, like I do…) but I'm curious to know how do you rate the importance of being part of a great team that's really there to support you, that has a long time perspective and has an Educational System to guide you along the way?

A strong list Ted – a couple more I would have added into the mix so perhaps a dozen would have been a better number to work with for this list of top 2012 MLM opportunities.

I suspect this post will be deleted because it is not positive. This list is ridiculous as the analysis is so flawed.
Analysing opportunities to join or build is dependent on which country you join. Terms like 'growth' is so spurious. Amway and Oriflame – growth companies? Amways growth is mainly India and China or advertising driven. Oriflame is a dog in most countries or nickel and dime opportunity. ACN has collapsed in most countries. etc etc.
what about TriVita Ted..we opened 10 countries last year, on target to open 90 more in next 9 years, and add thousands of customers every week through the infomercials which distributors can share through the co-op advertising..no other company does this… they have close to 3 million customers now. no way they should not be on the list.. huge steady growth for the last few years

Great post and I like to see my company, Talk Fusion, ranked amongst these. That said, all these companies are great and should be a guideline to pick a decent company to build based on your passions in life. Talk Fusion is not for everyone but this gives a nice mix of opportunities to pick from. My point being there is so much JUNK out there that people start that are undercapitalized, not in the DSA Direct Selling Association, and just plain silly to be frank.
A solid opportunity needs to be funded properly, have a unique product, have a reasonable looking website that will attract people to join your opportunity, and all of these have those things going for them. Great job on the post!

Join a rock solid company that is making an impact on the lives of others, with stable leadership and a product that you can't purchase on Amazon and ebay day after day, that is one thing I love about Talk Fusion is the value that is offered, we get so much for such a little fee. There are a lot of companies, but ask if you would use the product even if you didn't get paid for sharing it? Is the company global and expanding, in todays world you definitely have to get out of one country and make a difference worldwide.
